AC Delco or Moog front end rebuild kit for 2013 Yukon

Nothing impressive on RockAuto, the best kit they have is MevoTech 8-piece and based on the reports, it's mediocre.
Is there a similar kit based on Moog parts or OEM AC Delco?

The rearch revealed nothing on Ebay, Amazon, this forum, etc. I do not want to buy all these pieces one at a time. Would be convenient if someone combined the needed parts into one kit. I want to keep this vehicle as long as possible.

I run kryptonite suspension personally as their supposed to be heavy duty and has a lifetime warranty on all their parts even the ball joints and tie rods

When I did my 2007 a few years ago, I had to piece together a 'kit' myself. There was nothing available of top quality being sold pre-bundled.

No kits are worth a damn. If you want the Denali to ride like it did off the showroom floor there is but one option, GM OE. A distant second is ACDelco Professional/Gold which in control arms is the same as Moog CK Series, literally the same. Many like Kryptonite and Mevotech but I have no empirical data on how well their parts ride and last.

Upper and Lower Control Arms, Front struts piece by piece, inner and outer tire rods, sway bar bushings and end links front and rear, rear air shocks and the compressor for your truck if it's wore out. Many of the nuts and bolts and alignment parts must be replaced or ought to be replaced, especially if you live where they salt the roads.

If you are interested in the GM OE stuff I can give you the part numbers tomorrow.

And I now have a boot on one of the Moog lower balljoints about to tear. When I do my 2012 in a few years, I'm going to use all GM OE this time because it sucks to have to pull it all back apart every few years.

Only about 32K at that point. It's like the rubber boot on that balljoint is made of gouda cheese. Here was my parts manifest at the time. Note that they were the Moog "R" line, which is their value line. It was all I could get locally at the time. Presumably their CK/K line would fare better.

I replaced the upper/lower control arms and inner/outer tie rods last November using the Moog CK series parts. They all looked and felt like the originals except the ball joints are Moogs "bootless" or "internal boot" design. Also, I've noticed the tie rods, the part sticking out of the boot, started turning brown with that light rust color after about a month. I just sprayed and wiped them down with Surface Shield. The control arm finish is fine and still black.

Unfortunately all if the good brands don’t sell a whole “kit” you need to piece it together yourself.

Moog CK stuff seems to be alright, mevotech green stuff seems like it might be ok but I’ve never used it personally

I think 1A Auto sells kits, some including wheel hubs/bearing. I can't remember the brand, but know they are priced quite a bit cheaper than others, and don't know how good they are.

EDIT: Oh, it's the TRQ brand. Here's an example, but they have kits that include hubs and kits that include half shafts as well

I've actually put about 25K on it since then! I replaced all those parts when I lowered it near the end of '19. Then, about six months later, I did the engine work and that was right at 200K. I'm now at 222K.


To add to the pile for @dictum: I used ACDelco Professional for my upper and lower control arms. This is now/also known as ACDelco "Gold". It was then that I learned of the various quality and price levels of ACDelco parts and that they weren't actually factory parts. The arms came in ACDelco boxes, etc. but are 100% Moog CK series. The CK series is 'okay', but still not OE/Genuine GM (what came on your car from the factory). The CK-series is better than the Moog R-series, which is probably what would be in an ACDelco "Silver" or "Advantage" box. "Silver", "Advantage", R-series, etc.- avoid 'em all.

As for my ACDelco Professional/Moog CK arms- The arms themselves are fine. It's just cast iron poured to a shape. The bushings and ball joints seem fine. The boots suck. That's my only problem with them. They tore after maybe 10K miles, if that. I do not overfill them with grease. They split along an inner fold so it's definitely the material they're made of that failed.

That's what I am going with on my 2015. The Mevotech TTX versions. They also have a warranty with them. I noticed the A1Auto's TRQ parts have a warranty as well.

Geez. Makes me feel like I haven't done anything to it in so long and am way overdue for some sort of upgrade or change.
