I hope you can find someone to get it done. I'd forget about the bigger shops and try the smaller shops, or an individual who can get it done as a side job.

I sell precast concrete for a living. Just learn mechanical things as needed. I don't have the time or energy to do it for hire though. I barely get my own things done lol

There's a guy here in Crossville that lives over by the drag strip. He worked for gm for over 30 years and retired from there then built a garage at his house. I'm going to call him tomorrow.

Shame. Guy that originally did my swap charged me $500 labor just for the motor swap, and whatever parts, fluids etc was. That was a damn good deal.

Yep it was. My only other option is to have the students a tn college of applied technology do it but it's a 3-4 month waiting list. The good thing with that is it'll only cost me 25.00

For the antifreeze do yall use that dex cool crap or the regular green antifreeze?

Some guys use the green because it's not as corrosive as the DeX. I guess it's just a personal preference, but whichever you decide just don't mix them.
BTW--After I had my cammed 6.0 swapped into my Tahoe the trans didn't last very long.

I use dexcool. Just buy the full strength and mix with distilled water.

Im needing to find someone that can put some upgrades in my transmission that doesn't charge an arm and a leg.
