Update if anyone is concerned. The wiring harness connector, the one that exits the front on the fuse box, had broken tabs that hold it...

I have a borescope on my desk at work, I'll bring it home tomorrow while the plug is still out from leak down check today.

@Keiterburb Mine is routed through the power steering lines like that also I saw a couple weekends ago. Not sure if that’s from factory...

I still have my dad's 1/2" Craftsman breaker bar from the 1950's. It's nigh unbreakable.
