Well I guess i am not getting the front and rear 3:73 because the one I found does not have speed sensors and my tahoe has 4 wheel abs with speed sensors.

Is that part of the rear axle? If it is, maybe you can swap your old axles over?

I just wanted to update all of you on the current status of my build. I am still slowly but surely amassing parts.

My wife and I drove 4 hours to Alabama to get this 2010 suburban lt. We traded our equinox for it. I didn't really want to do the trade but my wife wanted it so I went along with it to please her. It's a RWD one.

Never heard of them. Id just buy a full rebuild kit instead of piecing one together. Get borg or raybestos clutches. You can get the Jolene steels separate if you want them. I used the on the avalanche but thats the first application Ive personally used them. Everything else just used the steels that came with the kit and they have been fine.

I removed one mirror cap painted it gray and then reinstalled it with new double sided tape. I then put new glass in it as it was broken.

I also sanded down the gauge bezel and painted it slate gray.

My next step is to work on the other mirror (sand and paint after degrease) and replace the glass in it.

Ive also got me a grill with a billet insert installed. I plan on blacking out the billet flat black and then doing the rest of it in Slate gray.

I painted the bezel slate gray.

The rear wiper arm and mount were in pretty bad shape so I hit em with some flat black paint. Then clear coated it.

Not sure if you’ve considered it, but that fake wood grain is fairly easy to remove and then you can paint the entire piece one color. I used regular denatured alcohol and scotchbrite pads to remove that on my 02 Denali. I did the switch panels and console pieces too. It really cleans up the interior imo.
