Damn, that's clean. Makes me wanna get a new applique to lose the bow tie.

I'd like to see how those LEDs do. Have a link for them?
That is actually why I jumped on this applique, since it didn't match exactly what I needed. Cost, and no emblem.

Here are the lights!

That might be too bright for me. o_O I might have to dissect and remove some chips.

Not sure if your PPV has the puddle lights under the mirrors or not but they also have these...

I have not purchased these yet as I have been waiting for my current LED lights to bite the dust and give me an excuse.

Are these plug & play, or do they require "turning on" in the body module, you have any idea? I'd certainly toss them in mine if its a true p&p.

Not sure on a PPV. Mine is an LTZ and they already had the lights in the mirrors.

I know a lot of the PPVs have like a "Stealth/Surveillance" mode programmed into them so the lights don't flash and headlights don't come on when locking/unlocking from the remote.

Yeah, I've never had DRL's or horn/lights when locking/unlocking.
RPO codes show it.

Finally got a few more pics of the turd. No more changes recently, just driving it on the weekends now. Still creating havoc with people jamming on the brakes in front of me, and swerving out of my way. I use the trainhorns at least once every time I drive it, idiots everywhere....

Got rid of the automatic headlights, hopefully to prolong the life of the HID's. Takes 4-5 minutes and its free.

The GIF is looped, it makes it look like the switch goes back to auto but it doesn't.

That's all it takes- to remove the spring so the switch stays in the "OFF" position? Are they 100% off or do they still come on when you unlock it with the fob or turn the engine off and or take the key out, etc.?

Those pictures are missing. Is this the spring piece you remove? Does the knob still "clock" into each position or does it just roll smooth with no resistance?

Decided to sell my 2007 LT, so I've taken off my 22" Texas Edition Rep's to sell separately. I picked up a 2010 PPV this weekend to take its place. Looking for a center console, steering wheel, and some headlights (or just new lenses).

What are some other things you guys have found useful in your PPV/SSV? Are the factory head units the same in all of these? (is the Bose system just speaker replacements?) I was thinking of getting an iPod interface as well, maybe picking up some of the front foglight brake ducts.

Anyone have any insight on the questions or suggestions?

Is the DIC plug and play also? I definitely miss that feature, even better if its plug and play.

And those trim pieces left/right of the airbag and worm, but the rubber wheel itself has separated from the metal frame at the top of the wheel, I guess from some white knuckle driving my SHP. Sounds like I'll just order a loaded wheel and be set.

People are pretty proud of factory consoles, they are from $400-600 on eBay.....but I know I'll need to suck it up since I do want one.

I actually like the quiet/stealth of the factory system, at least for the moment. I am getting the front glass tinted 20% to match the rears, and the windshield done 40%. That will be done Sunday.

The bigger element of surprise from this questionable SHP vehicle while on the road will come when I get the train horns install. :) That might happen Saturday...
I bought a CC, drivers seat and the entire back seat for $600 from a guy in Daytona Beach.
