Hello all,

I am new to the sight. I have always wanted to get a police vehicle. Well, many many years later….I joined the club yesterday. 2014 Tahoe with 135k miles. I have a lot of reading to do…..first though is a center console.

Going to just add to this thread as I work on it.

Major Surgery to the suspension system occurs. Yes it is overboard.

Very nice find!

More pics of the truck, please.

since it still has the Setina push bar and wiring harness, I would love to get white lights to put in it......anyone know where they can be found?

Do you have a blank space, or a 3rd seat in between?
Nothing in between on front.

So the outside on the front windows are scratched all to hell. Picked up so good window polish. Started on a spot on the passenger side…..this is gonna work. Gonna be a little work, but will look good.

Welcome from Miami&Queens NY!

Your 2014 PPV looks to be excellent condition. Was probably a take home vehicle. Nice work so far!

Wow, took a small trip today. Road for part of it and realized the bottom foam of the drivers seat sucks compared to passenger side. Wow, another thing to add the the list.

I also have a 2014 PPV. Great vehicle once you get everything sorted out. I have been over every inch of mine and it is finally where I want it for now. Lots of great people and legitimate information in this forum. Good luck!

Wow, the departments usually pull all the service bits out when retiring a vehicle, like the up-fitters wiring and 'perp-seats'. When we got our 2010, I found a Bay-trader who had consoles for sale, and got a nice one from there. You can search for them, or since you'll need a rear seat and belts, probably better off hitting a local junk yard.

Good luck on the truck, and please keep posting progress!!

Congrats!
"It's got a cop motor, a 440 cubic inch plant, it's got cop tires, cop suspensions, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas. What do you say, is it the new Bluesmobile or what"

Thank You. I am actually looking at making this a vehicle I 'Want', not necessarily what I 'need'. I am in my 50s and all my vehicles have always just filled a need, I finally have a vehicle I am going to mold into what I want. I have wanted a 'Cop Car' since the crown vics.

Once I get the 2nd row seating/belts taken car of, I wanna get McGaughy's 2" drop spindles and 2.5" Fox Coil Overs w/ resi - adjustable. Have not decided if I wanna run a larger rim - in the same PPV style.
