Forged Control Arms?

Hello-
How do I tell what type of control arms I have? I am ordering ball joints and it's asking specifically.


98 GMC Yukon 4x4 4 Door

likely stamped lowers and cast/forged uppers for a 4wd.

stamped the forged were for 2500s iirc

This is a good question , I bought BJs not to long ago and now I can't remember how i found this answer Ill get back to you

if the uppers are stamped they will be a bolt in Ball Joint. If the uppers are forged, the Ball Joint will be a press in.

End of story.
