Just press the top button on the DIC control
Or unplug the box under passenger seat! All the beeping ever does is distract me when I'm already looking.
The one time I thought there was space, it didn't beep until after collision..
I try to check the rear camera more often now, it's great for backing up close. I would never back up that close without it!

My friends BMW has a cool display that shows you what the sensors are seeing, kind of like a fish finder.
But beeping annoys the heck out of me for some reason..

Oh when I'm backing up normally (without the trailer) it shows me on the screen with a square around the item that's causing it to beep.

I think I can also go into one of the menus in the navigation screen and turn on/off grid lines and on/off beeping

EDIT: Nope, I can only turn on/off camera, grid lines, and warning symbols

You can. I can back right up to my trailer coupler. And, when something disappears under the bumper thats right where it is.

noooo, basically power steering fluid is mostly mineral oil
are you sure it is the pump going out? usually the rack n pinion seals go bad and it spits it out there

That button is already lit and does nothing when I press it. I probably should've done that before hooking up the trailer, lol
Something ain't right. That’s how I do it on both of mine. Doesn’t matter if the trailer is already hooked up or not. Step 1 for me is to turn off the park distance control and then step 2 is to use the top button for the DIC controls on the dash to clear the message and go back to the odometer or whatever other thing I want to monitor. Wonder if the BT Dieselworks stuff is interfering for you.

Edit: saw you got it sorted. I assumed you were already pressing the DIC button. Lol.

Regarding the plastic, I'm amazed I didn't break the trim pieces! BIG Thank You to Tom who did the dash removal instructions on this site!

Yep I noticed middle was weak too. What did you use to prop it up? When epoxying my dash back, I couldn't get the parts to lineup without weighing down the right side of the airbag crack and pushing up center part. Same with cluster crack. If I only pushed center up, the crack opened up. Terribly flimsy dash.. Here's some pics of it now..

actually epoxied right side in two stages, just a little jbweld showing inside crack, but its pretty much perfectly level, driver side theres a ledge in the middle third..

that doesn't look to bad.

I don't really remember what I used for the center, something laying around the shop, I think it might have been a wood handle paint brush cut to length and jammed in there. lol.

Mine will sense when I have my trailer snd automatically disable the park assistance.

did you do the flush where you suck the res dry, take the return line off it, plug the reservoir. then fill it with fresh fluid, jack the wheels up and turn the wheel right and left with the engine off till clear fluid comes out?

I've not done this yukon cause it doesn't have a pump but I did the c6 cause that thing murders powerstering fluid even with the optional cooler. it took like a qt and a half, the Tahoe system must be huge to run a gal thru

I finally got around to changing plugs and wires on this thing. it ran fine but looking at the plugs and wires, I think they might have been original. don't look bad for 146k on them, but since I only got it last year, if they have 30k on them, not great lol. they looked worse than I expected for how smooth it ran.

idles a bit smoother
