Sounds mean. Have you taken it out on the road yet? How's the interior noise level? And here it is!! The first crank with the new system!!
Short answer no but don’t have too much road data. I’ll updated MondaySounds mean. Have you taken it out on the road yet? How's the interior noise level?

I'm digging it.Idle is quiet
Idle is quiet
!! What an aggressive rumble for stock and sounded like it had that high throttle crack and pop at the end....So I have been hearing some clunking in the steering at low speeds. I decided to take it to the local tire type shop out here at my training thinking it just might be a CV. Well they called me to let me know that they test drove it and the clunking is coming from the steering column and they do not do work with the steering column and I would need to take it to the dealership.
So not wanting to take it to the dealership and drop all the cash they will surely try to pry from me, I searched the forums. Turns out it has to do with the intermediate steering shaft. @HiHoeSilver told me that I can just redistribute the grease on the ISS and that would help. But I also found an article on fourwheeler.com that deals with this exact issue and the flaw of the chevy design. Recommends a new beefier aftermarker ISS from Borgeson. So i will grease the ISS for the timebeing while at training but I will definitely be upgrading to the Borgeson!!

Think this might be what I end up going with, just wondering how quiet the idle is and what the in cabin drone is like.

You don't need to add any grease. In fact, you shouldn't, as it can affect the shaft 's design to collapse in a front end collision. There's a 15mm nut /bolt that holds the intermediate shaft to the lower. Tie off the steering wheel with your seat belt, take it the bolt, and just above the ISS up towards the cabin and back a bunch of times. Put the bolt back and you're done for a while.

This has me confused... what is it saying?
So next mod is leveling out the hoe. I'm tired of rubbing all the time and hoping this helps it not rub so bad. I've ordered some ebay keys, New MOOG rear springs and spring insulators. I figure may as well freshen tem up since they are 12 yrs old and have 202K miles on them. Also going to go with the Bilstein 5100s. Hopefully everything comes in and i can get er done this weekend
