It never stalls afterwards putting it into gear.

On some random cold starts over the years I get this driveline slam and the truck jumps. Could be something else causing it I guess. I don't know how else to exsplain it.
Is there a delay in going into gear associated with the "slam" or "jump"?

Takes quite a bit of energy to make one of these vehicles jump or slam as you're describing.

What year and are you referring to a 4L60, 4L80 or 6L80/90?

I also get random high idle revs when turning tight in some situations, I think I need to replace my DBW pedal.

Then its not converter clutch (neither clutch failure or anything in the TCC circuit)

Check your TPS on a scanner and see if its reading in line with your actual pedal travel. Also check MAF and other engine management sensors. The pcm uses the data flowing from those sensors as apart of its transmission control strategies.

I am at 350K on original motor and rebuilt trans. When it bangs it sounds like the flex plate

Hmmm…Wonder if your flex plate is cracked…since you have a 2007 (first full year those transmissions had an input speed sensor) it could also be a failing input speed sensor. It’s common to experience super harsh, late shifts/engagements if it’s beginning to fail.

Not saying that’s it, but it’s a possibility.

Sorry, it's late and I think too much about techy things. Appreciate you.

Good night everyone.
