A simple powered plug like.. perhaps the cigarette lighter it replaced?
ya any GM usb port is going to be data and charge as far as I know, I have never seen a gm usb port that was charge only, you could very easily use the gm usb port and then connect the rear mini usb port to power only, the 12v to 5v usb power adapters are all over ebay and amazon it's very simple conversion I use one for my dashcam which is hardwired to accessory power via usb.

Bye bye badges.

I think visually the black adhesive was more appealing on white than the faux chrome.

i could never find a matching trim piece for a good price (cheap) so I found this one for $40 and with about 50 cents of vinyl (that almost matches) did this.

The vinyl wrap job is not perfect (my first try) but i have plenty of vinyl to do it again.
Last year when my mechanic had to remove the dash to replace to AC condenser they did not get the harnness for the DIC switch back in its location so I am going to have to go back to them and make them fix that (free of charge of course) so I can hook up the DIC switch

I may be going into another round of transmission issues. I got some more slip on the way to the hardware store today. Checked fluid and was a quart low. Added a quart. Going to drive around and pray the slip goes away. Damnit!

Have any of you crazies done an NV4500 swap?

Not in a NNBS but I don't think it would be terribly difficult.

What did you do for clutch pedal and related hudraulics/driveshafts?

OEM clutch pedal, master/slave cylinder, and crossmember. The bell housing even bolts right up as long as you get a GM NV4500 preferably the newest style because it has a shorter shifter tower and synchronized 1st and reverse. Depending on 4wd and what rear axle you may need a custom driveshaft which isn't terribly difficult.

It's not a swap I'd try to do in 1 weekend and drive to work Monday but with a little thought and hardwork I'm sure it can be done.
