Away!
Don't forget about the spare wheel as well. It's 16" on GMT800, so you need to replace it as well
You just need to swap rear to front and use the spare in the rear in case of a flat.

It would still fit on the rear. If you had a flat in the front you could swap back to front and replace the rear with the spareDon't forget about the spare wheel as well. It's 16" on GMT800, so you need to replace it as well
Hmm didn't see your post. Well said. You just need to swap rear to front and use the spare in the rear in case of a flat.
I agree with that statement, but it's an option for some. Not sure I would want to do that on the side of the road. Thats the most dangerous place to be. I think after one time with traffic flying by as you change two wheels out you will go get a spare that will fit in all four positions. I know I would.
Also--isn't this option only good if you have 2wd? I've read running different size tires will ruin a transfer case in the front--and can't be good for your rear either.I agree with that statement, but it's an option for some.

If the overall diameter and circumference is different then you would have an issue. We are discussing different wheel and tire combinations that have the same diameter and circumference so there won’t be an issue.
When i went to 20 inch wheels i got a spare from an escalade in the junkyard that had 20`s from the factory, I can`t remember the exact size but it is very close to the same diameter as a 275/55/20 and fits perfectly in the spare tire location.
My AWD 2013 Denali XL came from the factory with 4 20” wheels and a 17” spare. When i went to 20 inch wheels i got a spare from an escalade in the junkyard that had 20`s from the factory, I can`t remember the exact size but it is very close to the same diameter as a 275/55/20 and fits perfectly in the spare tire location.
That's the size I'm running on my 03 with the nnbs setup.I tried to get a picture but there was no way i could get the whole wheel and tire in the shot. The tire size was a 265/70/17. It does fit up there with room to spare though, I think i have heard guys here say that a 33 will fit under there.
Napa was that way too. What good is a wore out caliper everybody returns them. When i returned my cores they never even looked in the boxes. I could have put two bricks in there but that`s typical of advance auto.
Just went through all 40 pages of this thread. Great info!! Page 5 seemed to have all the part numbers you need.
I need to change my rotors / pads. Figured I'd change the calipers too so might as well go for this upgrade. Along with the SS lines. Planning for next week, will post an update after.
That is the best time to do it! Really does not cost anymore than simply replacing with the same original setup so why not go for a "free" OEM big brake kit?Just went through all 40 pages of this thread. Great info!! Page 5 seemed to have all the part numbers you need.
