I finally installed Brembo brakes (big brake kit) using all genuine GM parts on my 2019 Cadillac Escalade ESV! I've read many threads and watched a few videos on this. There always seemed to have been some modifications that had to be done, but in my case, it turned out to be way easier than I thought.

Here are a list of parts for anyone who wants to tackle this job.

Fronts:
Rotors (2): Powerstop AR82209EVC. https://tinyurl.com/4jzyjprk
GM 6 piston caliper - left: GM 84793057: https://tinyurl.com/35ct3nbe
GM 6 piston caliper - right: GM 84793058: https://tinyurl.com/y9dtxcz4
GM caliper bracket bolts (4): GM 11612265: https://tinyurl.com/yx7b5jc6
GM banjo bolts (2): GM 11569590: https://tinyurl.com/4h9xyufh
GM crush washers: https://tinyurl.com/bdd4z9df
Powerstop brake pads Z372407: https://tinyurl.com/4jb6xad2
Washers (to mount between the caliper and the spindle): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BX43JS5Q

Rear:
1 x https://ctsvbrakeswap.com/collectio...ck-suv-4-piston-c7-rear-big-brake-bracket-kit
1 x GM 1722716 caliper (Right passenger side)
1 x GM 1722715 caliper (Left driver side)
1 x Power Stop Z261718 rear brake pads
2 x Raybestos 581032P rear brake rotors
2 x GM 11569590 Banjo bolts
2 x GM 22968938 Disc Brake hardware kit (the brake pad posts that run through the caliper)

Chemicals/fluids:
- DOT3 brake fluid
- Bleeder kit (I used Motiv's since I did it myself)
- CRC Disc Brake Quiet (***this is VERY IMPORTANT)
- Permatex Extreme Ceramic Brake Lubrication
- Brake parts cleaner
- Blue Loctite

Some very important notes:

1. I was pleasantly surprised about the front 2024 Tahoe PPV 6-pot Brembo calipers: I did NOT have to modify them in any way. All I did was add a washer, and it bolted right up to my spindle.
2. The washers that I posted HAVE to be that grade of metal (Grade 8.8+) in order to keep the stock torque rating on the mounting bolt, which is 170 ft. lbs. of torque. For me, when I used that washer, I didn't even have to shave down the ears on the mounting tabs of the caliper. It bolts right up.
3. Yes, I had to trim the dust plate in the rear. Made short work of it with my Milwaukee wheel grinder.
4. The CRC Disc Brake Quiet is very, very critical. I finished the job, and was getting ear piercing squeal when coasting to a stop from 10MPH. It's because I didn't realize you have to use disc brake quiet spray/equivalent when installing these types of floating calipers. I disassembled each brake caliper, spray coated the rear of the pads, and put it all back together, and bingo: dead silence when braking. If you use a good quality brake lube like Permatex Extreme Ceramic on the back of the pads, you don't have to use the CRC Disc Brake Quiet.
5. Don't forget to break the new pads and rotors in, because if you don't, braking power will be severely diminished.
6. I did not have to worry about the front calipers hitting my wheels. My stock wheels have a 24 offset and there is so much space that it looks stock. Even after being installed, there is about 1.5 inches of space left between the caliper and the rim spokes.
7. The CTSV Brake Swap bracket comes with no instructions and no guidance. I emailed them 3 times and they didn't even answer. I installed it anyway. The bracket bolts to the mount, I used 110 ft. lbs. of torque. The bracket to caliper, I used 80 ft. lbs. of torque. If/when they answer, I'll adjust as needed. The 14mm bolts get torqued to 145 ft/lbs and the 12mm bolts get torqued to 90 ft/lbs (directly from CTSVBrakeswap).
8. The rear calipers are Camaro Brembo calipers. They cross reference to other Corvette/Camaro calipers that are an exact fit; you can choose what you like if you want a different color.

The result is an almost 7,000 lb. rig that stops like a little car. The brakes are so unbelievably responsive, I can be cruising at 50MPH, approach a sharp left turn, and in less than 80 feet bring the truck down in speed to around 10MPH to comfortably make the turn. If I emergency stop, I can leave deep tire marks from all 4 tires on the street. They stop amazingly, linearly, and confidently, and are a massive upgrade from stock.

Ask me anything, and I'd be happy to answer! Hope this helps anyone who is interested in doing the same for their rig!

All them fancy words with no pictures is nasty work
Yeah, sorry, no pics. I got some before and after, but that's it. My hands were so dirty, and I was tired. I worked this for 12 hours straight in 90 degree weather, and had to fight potential rain as well.

I totally get that. I did the front Brembo's and only stopped once to take a pic before bleeding. After that, the gloves stayed on till I was done.

Here are some of the after pics. Excuse the really, crazy dirty wheels, a full wash is coming very soon!

The last one in the series is obviously the rear. Camaro brakes. :p

My wheels are GM #22962909. If you look it up, these wheels have the following specs. The key was the offset. Beware, I've seen plenty of cases where the offset was good, but the spoke design infringed on the caliper, so you'll have to make sure it will fit. What I did was before I committed to buying the entire kit, I bought just one caliper and rotor, and tested fitment. That way I wasn't out $2-3k for the project if it didn't fit.

I finally got the folks at CTSVBrakeswap to respond. Here are the official torque values for the rear bracket.

The 14mm bolts get torqued to 145 ft/lbs and the 12mm bolts get torqued to 90 ft/lbs.

Nice upgrade. Thank you for posting your process, detailed descriptions and specs, and the associated issues (or lack thereof) that you found.

Just another example of why this Forum ROCKS!

That's a nice upgrade for sure.
Did you use the original hardware from your ESV for the CTSV swap kit? The 12mm and 14mm bolts?
Thanks

Nope. They provide the necessary bolts.

Looking good. Today while loading the brake pads I realized I don't have brake pad pins for the front calipers . I also painted the ZL1 calipers going on my wife's 2023 Camaro 2SS convertible and those pins fit the Yukon calipers. Hopefully have the right pins arriving Tuesday.

All calipers are loaded except Yukon fronts.
