Anybody check these out yet? Look pretty cool imo. Heafty price tag at $1000.

I would prefer a clear reflector. Found them while digging through I.g. No options for Yukon at the moment.

That's a lot of moola.

Looks like Volvo's Thor's Hammer lights. They trademarked them. Wonder if it's an issue.

No way would I spend that kind of money on likely poor quality aftermarket headlights. If you're willing to spend that much money, buy a new set of good GM headlamps and a Morimoto retrofit kit and you'll have far better results that will last for years to come.

Output shots look decent. I’d like to see them in action. You could easily spend $1k for top of the line retrofit headlights. But I figure I’d share these:deal:

That is a ridiculous price for headlights especially on an older vehicle with a lower value. Install these on your truck and try to get that investment back when selling? It has 1000 dollar headlights! Wont add one penny to your return. We all like quality and nice stuff, but this is literally 10% of the value of some guys trucks here.

Well not all of us have trucks with a low value. Anybody that thinks they’re going to get the money back on upgrades when selling their truck is fooling themselves. These could be pulled and swapped with the stock ones and most of your money could be recouped by selling them though. There’s guys here buying $600 radiators, $6000 superchargers, $4000 brake kits, $6000 sets of wheels, etc etc.

Agree with Mark 100% on this.

The reason folks buy these trucks and then put $1000’s into them is because they like how it makes their truck look or run, not because it’s going to get them a better resale value. The value they get out of it is the enjoyment they have in doing it.

I have about $700 into a set of retrofits I put together myself so actually these aren’t really out of line if the output is great. Good headlights aren’t cheap.

You trying to convince me, but its not working. Ill be fine with my cheap headlights

We aren’t trying to convince you to buy them if that’s what you mean. Keep your cheap headlights, it’s fine with us. These are just pretty damn cool. If you don’t want to buy expensive stuff, that’s totally fine. Nobody is trying to convince you to do anything actually.

They look pretty cool but I would like to see them from different angles.

In this pic you can see how much the outer lens bubbles out...

You can see where the orange reflector is in the back... that is close to what the original shape would be, so these things definitely stick out more.

I would hope it wouldn't make the truck look bug eyed.

Wow. That would make them a no-go for me. I’m not sure if the Silverado ones are like that. Here’s what they say about their design though:

Design
When we design these Chevy Tahoe/Suburban/Avalanche NOVA-series headlights, it was a challenge for us to make modification because there is very tight space at the back. Our solution is to extend the lens further out in order to get more space for the modification. We apply two L-shape LED tubes on these headlights. The top LED tube functions as DRL around our four patented full LED ice-cube 3D projectors. The bottom LED tube functions as sequential signal. These headlights also come with activation light feature, which is a running light when you unlock your Chevy Tahoe/Suburban/Avalanche. At the bottom of these Chevy Tahoe/Suburban/Avalanche NOVA-series headlights is the reflector lens for DRL. The outer two projectors are low beam and two of the inner projectors are for the high beam.

I know when I retrofitted my Silvy ones I was barely able to fit the Morimoto H1 projectors in there behind the lens, they cleared by 1/16” or so. I don’t think I could go with a headlight that has extended lenses, at least not on that truck.

That bubble lens just ruined these lights for me. :blah:
I’d like to see a walk-around video or at least see them from different angles like @kbuskill said but, yeah, I pretty much lost all enthusiasm when I saw that. Not that it matters to me since I built headlights for my only NNBS already and I’m not about to change them now, but still.

I wanna say that I'd have to see them in person. But I'm gonna say that the bubble lens just saved me $1,000 and try not to look at them again. Or maybe I'll start looking for LED headlights from a wrecked Acura or Accord to cannibalize and retrofit my stock ones.
