Haha you don't. I had no clue about what it even was until earlier and then google once again filled me in on some new useful tools. Just search RPO code for what ever you'd like to know about your Tahoe etc and in most cases something will surface.

Odd and unexpected! Tenth digit in VIN is "9", designating it as a 2009. "LMG" is the 5.3 and, as you already know, M30 is the 4L60E. Oh well, with enough power and with a good shift tune, you won't miss the other gears so much.
Ask me how long a stock 4l60 lasts after boost is added. About a hundred miles in my case. Unfortunately with my NV249 TC the custom adapters are no longer available for an 80e swap so I went with a Performabuilt level 3 60e and tci triple disc billet converter. So far so good.

It's crazy some people have the worst luck where they don't last anytime and other people have them last way longer than anyone would expect. The guy who's tuning my truck didn't seem to concerned when I told him it had a 60e and I knew that was the weak link. And that I just wanted it to run good and be able to get out of its own way. I didn't care about how much power it made just wanted to enjoy it until I get all the trans stuff squared away.

It's impossible to not drive it hard once in awhile after you add boost lol. Kinda addictive.

True. I had the trans beefed up when I got it rebuilt a few years ago. Shifts awesome. and when I dropped my new engine in 2 winters ago, I pinned the crank, so I just need boost now

Valid point lol but it'll be just as hard to have to spend another $2k or more in the next few months. I told the ms. that I would take a break and take care of stuff around the house after it's running and tuned.

Do you have a thread on here for the one that you turbocharged?

I went with a supercharger. I have a huge ass build thread for the whole truck but here's a link to the part where I started on the blower. I've done about everything I can do to the 02 except bag it. As far as the engine, I did a cam, roller rockers, dual valve springs, and headers as well as a Whipple. Like I said, addictive. At the bottom of my posts are links to both my builds; if you're on a phone you have to turn it sideways into portrait mode to see my sig and the links.

Well cut work short today and went and wrenched on the truck for a few. Got the vaccum lines run as well as my fitting in the pan for the return. Started extending my wires for my MAF sensor but I need some more materials. Just waiting on my fitting for my oil feed and it's just about complete aside from fluids.
