Did everything mount up no problem? Like the inner cooler? I saw some people having to make there own mounts for it

The kit comes with brackets for the intercooler which worked well. But to be honest if I were do it again I'd probably go with the trick performance kit for simplicity and what seems to be more quality parts in regards to V band clamps and T bolt clamps etc.

I think the 2009 Tahoe had the option to have a 4.8, if it was 2WD. The 4.8 would have had a 4L60. I found this as well:

Definitely an odd one! I know the 09 trucks split the year between the 4L60 and the 6L80 (I was a tech and a parts guy for GM) and every 09 Tahoe 5.3 had a 6L80, while the 4.8 2WD only had the 4L60. I bet it's a very early 09.

I was really hoping I was going to get lucky lol so then I could skip the 4L80 swap and go straight to a cam and converter lol. But I'll just make due until I get all the trans swap parts in hand.

Odd and unexpected! Tenth digit in VIN is "9", designating it as a 2009. "LMG" is the 5.3 and, as you already know, M30 is the 4L60E. Oh well, with enough power and with a good shift tune, you won't miss the other gears so much.

Well I'll be a monkey's uncle! Never heard of that before. I read where the pickemups started out 2009 with 4-speeds but not the SUVs. Guess it might have had something to do with it being a PPV maybe?

GT4 = 3.73 gear, that's good!
