Got my 2 year inspection done today. I’m good until 26 now and eligible for historic plates next registration in 25.

I was just hoping I could skip inspections with them but will definitely research this further lolCheck your rules. I can get Historic plates, but that means I couldn't drive it daily. Only parades and special events, or for service.

New resistor worked for a second then stopped. I suspect the control switch and will reload the parts cannon and shoot again![]()
I checked and cleaned the big 50A in the engine bay as well as switched relays and she still started so I ruled those 2 things out. Couldn’t find an interior fuse for the blower, did I miss one.Blown fuse?
Thanks. Google hasn’t been much help in giving the answer. None of the repair kits I’ve seen come with one either. I was thinking it was part of the mirrors readouts but it would have been on that chart. I’ve never known how the mirror reads the outside temperatures.GM doesn’t show it as a part with the mirror, so it may be something that comes with the windshield to help the glue stick better.

You can try posting your last 8 digits of the VIN and maybe @915_Tahoe can help.Thanks. Google hasn’t been much help in giving the answer. None of the repair kits I’ve seen come with one either. That is part of the glass, the plate glues to that to have a better hold. What is this piece called that the metal disc for rear view mirror is attached to? If it’s needed what’s it for? It’s like a really thin aluminum pad maybe. (Apologies if a dumb question)
Are replacements available? Does it even need to be replacedThat is part of the glass, the plate glues to that to have a better hold.
I honestly dont think its even necessary…it probably helps adhesion and maybe even keeps the windshield from cracking in that spot (ive done that a long time ago) but Ive also glued countless rearviews to the plain glass over the years. Just make sure surface is clean and dry and dont put the mirror on before glue is ready. Are replacements available? Does it even need to be replaced

Happy New Year
Today I am doing an oil and filter change.
Pretty straight forward.
The filter setup in these is a bit of a pain how it is situated.
While under there i went looking for a rattle in the steering I have been feeling through the steering wheel.
Drinkers side inner tie rod is the culprit.
Felt dry so I've given it a good pump of grease for now and see how it goes on the next drive out of town.
I know I'll need to replace but think it'll do for next couple of trips n will change next opportunity and freshen up the wheel alignment.
