Thanks for the tips on sourcing wire!

Anybody have the PN / Connector End view for the GMT900 fan connectors?

The plan is to, rebuild the fan harness 8 gauge wire... Or 10 if driven by connector limitations, more in a sec.

I'm getting ready to order the pins for the fan connectors. I don't have access to the FSM for the GMT900 though. I've found the terminal pins and wire gaskets for the GMT800 on Mouser.com However, they're spec'd to accommodate 12 to 14 gauge wire (GMT800 harness uses a 13 gauge). NOT the 8 to 10 gauge I need to run.

If I had the aptiv part number (shown below) from the "connector end views" in FSM for GMT900 I could order the terminals for larger gauge wire. The GMT900 uses 10 gauge in the fan harness.

Del City and Waytek are my sources for stuff like wiring and associated stuff like terminals, connectors, tools, etc.
Dang these sites are GREAT especially Waytek. Only thing looks like order minimums are 100ft on most wire. My plan is to build a drop in harness upgrade with factory fitment. If I'm able to accomplish that then I may order from them and build these harnesses for my friends.

ebay has gxl wire..
search popped up delcity.net
Ordered mostly from eBay as I can typically get in smaller lengths. I'll probably just order there for my prototype.

Thanks!

This one?

You're awesome! This website is another great resource. Thanks! Mouser is out of stock, I put an order into them. If they had them they'd be a fraction that cost.

Just seconds ago I ordered 8 gauge GXL wire to see if SOMEHOW that terminal will accept a TOUCH bigger than 9 gauge wire (it's spec'd max). 8 gauge would be ideal IMO, although probably not necessary, as current per wire will be half what it was on the feed line which is 8 gauge. Which writing this, perhaps it wouldn't hurt to up the feed line to 6 gauge, it does heat up. I'd wanted to get the Black, Yellow, Gray, and light blue to match the factory but that would have cost several hundred dollars so just got a 25' of black and 25' red for now.

Now I put in order at your link / custom connectors to get the remaining parts.

I'm quickly getting a fair amount of money tied up in this... :p

I've seen those. I'm trying to keep an as factory configuration as possible. However, maybe worth canibalizing one of those for the wire... Otherwise my next question was... where can somebody get 8 or 10 gauge bulk GLX J1128 compliant wire or otherwise for under hood conditions?
Yes, we sell it a Forklifts ETC. up in the good ole Memphis. We have a website and will ship it. We make hydraulic hoses too!

Oh cool. What's your website?

I ordered just whatever colors on eBay but really need to order correct colors to maintain factory wiring diagram if I build harness kits.
