What did you do to your OBS GMT400 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I only need about 1-1.5" out of the cable. Might try to get that from adjusting it. If I can't I'll have to learn more about cables than I care to.

No build thread unfortunately. I think it's been done enough. Not sure I have anything to contribute to what's become fairly common knowledge. I read your sig, nojeep. Your truck seems nice and beefy.

Fair enough, it is becoming pretty common to do axle swaps on obs GM trucks nowadays.

had a new MAC catback exhaust installed today. found it on ebay for $280. all I wanted was oem replacement. nice system , but the tailpipe is horrendously long. thinking about either doing my own slashcut , or cutting a few inches and putting on one of those dress tips. old sytem had rotted away behind the muffler

took about 4 inches off and made a slight boloney cut in there.. nothing crazy just in case I end up putting a tip on there

I'd cut it off before it angles down and throw a tip on it and call it a day

......remember, just the tip game LOL

problem is there is a crinkle bend where it angles down. the tip need something to bite onto for support. I will have to go to pep boys and brainstorm

Got the new axle on the ground. Next morning a 2" spot of diff oil is gathering. Guess bearing is bad. Seal is new. I'll grab some bearings and do both sides while I have the tools on rent.

Got the new leds installed since the last ones were not as bright and they started flickering

I need to replace mines as well 2 are flickering.where did you get the LEDs from.them look good. I will stick with cool white.

i bought some off ebay. theyre great. Did all my interior lights too. Only thing is they dont dim.

To help keep them from eventually flickering turn your dash dimmer as far down as it will go but still keep the lights on. The flickering is from the resistors in the leds going bad due to too much power being put to them

Got mine from amazon these are super bright white but they are blue in the cluster for some reason I'm guessing it has some film in between the gauges

Installed my hid kit for my fog lights they look a little blue even tho they are only 5k just have to wait till night time to check them out

The wife got me some led tail lights for Christmas so first thing I did Christmas morning after the kids got done was install them!!

Also finished putting together my Escalade console and installing it and installing my Escalade cluster with red leds. Not sure Im 100% happy with the leds but Ill give it some time to grow on me.
