Also, changed my brake light switch because they weren't working when I tried to get an inspection sticker. Nobody ONCE told me they weren't working. Oh well. $10 and half an hour later, I put a new one in and got the tank a sticker.

I have the same ones an no, there is no other change needed. There is some logic in the unit itself.

yeah they call them ballasts.

dimensionally speaking how did the led backups fit. and what specific model number were they? want to do my with superbright leds but have no done the dimension specs yet.

Im not sure on the brand i got them thru ebay and they do come with the ballast on them.

except i switched to a solid state flasher from superbrightleds so i can remove all the ballasts.

The back up lights i got on amazon 3156 54smd , they poped in no problem .
