Hello all,
A Newby here! I have a 1999-2000 Z71 Tahoe thats been a driveway queen since I've had it. Its from the Arlington Plant in Texas which I understand made a limited amount of them.

I still have the build spec in the glove box.
This truck was pretty much loaded, option wise and has the G80 rear locker as well with Auto 4W.
It has leather seats etc. and everything still works in it with 104K miles with the original front cattle guard and the 5.7 liter engine and barn doors. I have had over the years a number of people ask about it... so can anyone tell me what it would be worth to sell? I know there were a limited amount of them made, and yes its 26 years old, with a few bumps on it, but does it have any collectability to it? I hardly drive it because I have a company truck.

Welcome to the Forum from NH.

Lots of knowledgeable folks here who freely share their knowledge, experiences, and perspectives. Knowledge is power.

I hope that you will become a participating member in the Forum's discussions.

I cannot personally assist you with your issue, but other members of this Forum much more knowledgeable than me in used truck pricing will chime in.

Since, it has barn doors, don't let @OR VietVet see it, or it will disappear from your driveway. :p

Welcome to the forum, from Oregon.

In order to judge value, several things are needed.

1. Lots more pics: All around, interior, under hood, chassis and frame.
2. RPO codes sticker pic.
3. Any wrecks and any frame rust.
4. Paperwork/documentation of repairs/maintenance.
5. Tires condition.
6. ETC......

FYI GLOVE BOX BUILD RPO CODES. No wrecks its been in my driveway more than it's been on the streets in quite a number of years. It gets the oil changed, driven to the emission station 1-1/4 miles away and to the company picnic each August and a joy ride e year whether I like it or not. :)

Welcome from Miami&Queens NY!

Just to be clear you cannot post any vehicle for sale here unless you have at least 100 posts and be a member here for 180 days.
@Carpe Diem
Its not for sale, I'm trying to decide to either keep it for a while longer for whatever reason, repair anything major that may come up, or quit paying ridiculous Colorado insurance rates on a vehicle that been in the driveway the last 10 years or more, than it's driven, since I already have my company 4X4 and another vehicle. The only thing I see that it needs for sure that drives me crazy is the gas gauge wiggles. We just tried the 4 wheel last week in the mountains to make sure it stills operates.

BUT, do you have the paperwork/documentation to PROVE what you said? Talk is nothing. Documentation is proof.

A lawyer told me once, "If it isn't documented, it didn't happen".

Again, Im not looking to sell it to anyone.
If your suspicious of whether Ive been involved in any accident with any of my vehicles, I'll gladly give you AM FAM guys number that has been insuring me since 82 im happy to do that, if it important to you.
But after you call him and learn what you need, you have the VIN number on RPO pic feel free to lookup yourself on car fax . At the end of the day, I'm not looking for a certified appraisal of a 26-Year-old vehicle with all its creature comforts. I was generally looking up the value is all I was doing. so if its this big a deal. We can just skip it. Its not that important I'll donate it to a charity. Thanks again have a good day!

I am not saying I am doubting you. You asked about value and my steps of assessing value start with the 5 steps I laid out as well as an inspection. I cannot assess value without that. Some people assess value by "curb appeal". IMO, as has been said, I would keep it looking sharp and take care of it and be happy you have a great looking "Barn Door" rig. If I am looking and see a barn door GM SUV, that value, to me, goes up.

I look almost daily for what is out there and 99.9% of the sellers expect me to take their word and get pissy, if I ask for paperwork.
