exactly why I took mine off before I took it to the dealer, I took the whole wide trim piece, dic switch and the last vent on the right off and left them at home. emptied the glove box and dropped it down. so all they had to do was remove the 4 bolts, pop the airbag xmas tree harness holder out and pull the airbag out. all those pieces have to come off to replace the inflator.
More learning for me. Thanks for that.

So complicated. I put gas in, start them up, and do the work. Then I turn them off and out them away. I admit I like to modify big toys though. :head3:

Meh,
It started with my chain saw.
Big tree cleanup and i needed more power...

That then got me thinking about adding a little rc car fuel to the mix.

Long time ago i had a friend that told me he did it on his dirtbike when doing motocross races.

So i figured wth!
And oh boy did it make a difference.

Not adding any fuel, i overheated the saw badly.
Refurbished 50cc $120 poulan pro, so i didn't care much.

Later that turned into more fun, i ended up making it stable..

Then the eyes turned towards the leaf blower... lol

My hand held leaf blower is amazing now.
And i can't believe that engine hasn't died yet.
Technically I'm over revving it.

Then came the trimmer, that runs a pole saw.

More power helped a ton, but i did manage to strip out some stuff in one of my extensions once.

The crap I'm running, i got it all as returns.
Cheap stuff.
Plus the engine rebuild stuff is really cheap.

Did a top end on the cheap chainsaw, cost me $40 for a cylinder, ringz, piston, and all of the seals i needed.

huh, I ordered the dorman replacement forward dash piece on amazon and it shipped ups, well ups dropped the ball and 2 weeks later it was determined to be lost so Amazon shipped me another one at no charge, it arrived a week later and it's installed and fine, now this morning amazon sent me a email saying they are refunding me for the dash piece (initial purchase) because the address was undeliverable, lol free $79 part. the kicker is ups may end up still delivering the original part provided they ever find it.

I ordered an $80 adjustable extension ladder stand-off last week from Amazon because the one I had didn’t get me far enough away from the wall. My hot mail lady delivered it and bonus! There was 2 of them taped together. I returned one, so the other was free!

lol, I ordered a radio adapter/steering wheel button control for the o'l lady's 05 it was $29, they sent me a box that had 4 of them inside, I used 1 and sold the other 3 on ebay for $59 each, I also got my $600 pixel 5 phone for free, it was in shipping limbo for like 3 weeks, in the meantime they sent another one at no cost so when the original arrived I sold it on ebay as well for like $595
oh ya I then traded my pixel 5 to verizon for the pixel 6 and they gave me $700 credit for it

Also just got another notification for the passenger airbag recall. Wonder what the dealers around Baltimore are like?

I’ll probably do the same as a preemptive strike. The parts for the recall are supposedly back ordered.

They’re constantly backordered, then they’re in stock, then they’re backordered. It’s a lot of vehicles so they’re in constant production.

My riding mower is over powered as is.
V twin 20hp briggs.

I have never had that thing struggle ever, usually the belts or spindles go before that thing even gives any sign that it's doing any work whatsoever.
That's what I have in my 2005 John Deere. I just replaced the spindles and spindle brake bads and belt last year. Other than that and a new battery every few years I've never had a problem with it
