Been awhile posting but recently have been chasing the service stabilitrac, service traction control, service suspension, gremlin that makes the tranny have a hard 1-2 shift and the brakes pulse slowly when slowing down. At this point I’ve already bled the brakes, replaced brakes on all 4 corners, replaced front wheel speed sensors, and cleaned the contact area between sensors and axle(nobody near me has them in stock). Anyone have any suggestions as to what corrected their issues? Also I now live in Woodbridge Va (stationed in DC), anyone nearby <50 miles have a tech 2 that I can borrow to check what sensors are malfunctioning?

I don't have an answer for you unfortunately but this reminded me of something I was going to mention.

We should start a thread and maybe get it stickied with all the guys who have a Tech2 and would be willing to help someone out local to them with maybe just City/State or Zip code/State info so as not to reveal home addresses and such.

I'm not sure which section would be appropriate and most visible or I would start it. Maybe the "Tech" section???

BTW, thank you for your service.

Vacuum or hydroboost brakes?

Have you checked for misfires or a vacuum leak?

brake pulsing is going to be abs related, one of the sensors is lazy or needs a new hub, you can buy just a sensor and swap it left/right on the front (most common) and see if that fixes it, there like $25 at the autoparts store
**I see you replaced them already so it may end up being a hub

Thanks, that might be helpful if you don’t mind. I’m looking at the one on the 6.0 but it looks like a different style

From the service manual,

pretty much you remove the "1" 10mm bolt to get the clutch face off.

If your lucky, that's it.

but you need to remove the pully to get "7" pully off.

And i got the new pump on last night.
Man that Melling high pressure/ high volume sure is a tight sob when new.

I even have a Melling timing chain set this time around!

I ended up lightly sanding the pump body to the crank pully fitment so i could get my thinnest feeler gauge in there.
Just a little lip in there...

then i used that as my "centered" guide.

I put 23 gal of e85 IN MY Denali last saturday when premium was 3.69 and E85 was 2.39. Even at Costco Premium is 3.29 in Bloomfield. As a consequence my mpg -city- is 11.8 where normally I run about 13.5. It does rev higher under full throttle... ;-)

That gauge on the dash isn't accurate, it just gives a general idea.

I read my oil pressure using the Bluetooth dongle and Torque app

I’ll give that a shot. Forgot about it. Just looked down and noticed it today. Next time I go out I’ll see what it says in the torque app.
