Nice! Looks great man!! You need to paint those wiper arms next eh..?
I thought about when they were off and decided not to but yeah now I think so. See the white specs on the DS cowl in the little vent area? Grrrr. I’ll fix that without pulling it off. I guess I didn’t turn it around and inspect very well. I’ll have to wait until I’m using the Cerakote on something else so I don’t waste an entire wipe for that tiny area. I still need to do the side window trim so I’ll do it then.

I’m doing the Cerakote on the center of the grill and just decided to repaint it because it’s chipped so I ordered more paint and clear. It’s chrome under the paint too so now I need to decide on whether to sand and paint it or buy another paintable grill. Either way I needed to get the paint order in, last time it took 6 weeks. I can remove the painted part from the main part which is the honeycomb part, I’ve used a heat gun on tabs like this before and bent them straight, then bent them back during reassembly when I was working on something else. That will make it easier to sand.

I bought some Griots Garage Speed Shine awhile back and tried it out today. The truck hasn’t been driven or washed for 2 weeks and had a good dust layer on it. Normally I would have done a normal wash but decided to try this. I was surprised that it worked so good. I used one of their PFM cloths. It took about 10 minutes to do the whole exterior and came out glowing. It can be used on interiors and glass too. 2755307B-1007-4B8B-AF2A-EEC7A3E6A385.jpeg52A3EF82-5F24-4613-9B33-9CECA58A3BEE.jpeg9B313C31-0AAD-4D8D-A59B-A36CAC026674.jpeg49507CCB-EB1D-4629-B885-C2C2406257E8.jpeg
