I just replaced the door seals on my 2008 GMC Denali today. I knew the driver door seal was starting to leak and showed some splitting. I was very surprised to find that all 4 doors had the same issue. I never really go open the other doors so I had not observed they were all splitting and showing signs they were beginning to leak.
I first did my driver door and used one company from Amazon. Quality was OK but it was missing the tube on the end where you splice the two ends together.
I used a second Amazon choice for the other 3 doors, price was very close to the same and I liked the quality and fit better, this second company did include the splice tube for the ends. Cost was around $50 per door. They do look better after install since I. no longer see split rubber seals.
Job is not hard, just takes time and patience to work the seal back into the proper place. Do one side at a time as it allows you to look at the pattern on the other door if you have questions.
Be super careful as you install the new seals to push them fully into each corner as you install. I was ready to cut my first seal to fit when a double check found the seal was not fully installed at one corner and after adjusting I needed almost 2" more length. Make sure it is fully installed and then cut the ends. I have a 4" angle grinder with a thin cut off blade. I used it to make the cuts clean and straight. Not sure it was needed but it worked. Now I hope the water leak is sealed when we get rain again.
I am posting the link to the seals that seemed to be near OEM in quality and fit.
Note: The passenger door seals are exactly the same material so you can buy the front door seal and you will just cut off a little extra. About 18". I say this because the Front door seal was listed for less money than the rear door seals? I did not change my lift deck seal as it still looks good.
