Great idea, and it won’t cost a fortune. And I still have the headlights to do. I was actually in the middle of prepping them for paint and deciding on what I’m gonna do different this time when I decided to do the dash swap. I have them both opened and cleaned. But LED’s should be fairly easy to do on the NNBS. They’re already SMD LED’s. Just need to unsolder the old ones and solder in new ones.
Edit: at least SOME of them are. I think.
I know the bulbs in the headlights switch and plenty others are incandescent with blue gel caps over them. Damned things leave burn marks on the insides of the switches.

I just spent a half hour reading through this guys thread on an led conversion on all the switches and controls. Looks pretty damn involved. Pump the brakes lol.

Yep. I look for the one part of it that I’m afraid of failing at, you know, the hardest item. Because even if you convert all but one item over, you’ve failed and the whole project won’t look right. I saw those solder pads on the DIC switches and they’re the size of a pinhead. I know how easy those are to mess up. I think I’m good.

For me, that "one item" that I'd fail to convert would be the displays at the bottom. I'd guess the color of those is from a film sandwiched in between layers of glass if not the glass itself being tinted.
I changed the displays in my S10's gauge cluster from teal to cobalt blue by applying one or two layers of blue window tint over them. It looked great, but more green or more blue are the only options you have for those screens. @Tonyrodz, did you ever get that tint on your cluster?
It was re: your CV self-powered sub box. I just spent the better part of 2 days reading through this entire thread. All I can say is: WOW Mark, you take care of business. I like seeing all the work you’ve done to the Machine, and really appreciate you including all the details surrounding your thought process and troubleshooting. The truck was pretty badass when you bought it, but it obviously needed your attention to the details to make it right in every way. Props brother, that truck is just sick. Keep up the great work. This serves as motivation to many others!

After looking at the center I’m going to remove the wrap on the HVAC controls. Especially since a new brushed metal main bezel is coming. Also the new TC button/ power outlet assembly is going to be black. I also have a USB outlet connected to the HU and ready to go that will replace one of the power outlets.

Looks better but now I see I’ll have to PTM the radio bezel which means painting all 3 pieces.

Got some parts in from Ebay today and I’m happy to say they all look like new. I always wonder when buying used parts because sometimes the pics make them
look bad and when you message the sellers they’re not much help. Even the plastic caps on the power outlets look like they’ve never been used. I needed the headlight switch in order to assess if my rocker switches for the bags would fit in the pocket, and I see there’s no way so I ordered the AVS 3-rocker remote. I kinda wanted an excuse to convert to it anyway.
