I just received a Slick Products Garden Hose Foam Cannon and I am very happy with it. I washed The Machine in less than 10 minutes and that included adding soap and water to the container and hooking it up. The soap (4 oz) goes in a container and you fill it up with water. The cannon/ soap container has a quick disconnect so you can just pop it off and then you have just the sprayer left to rinse with. The sprayer itself works great, it has a perfect spray pattern with a LOT of water flow. The foam cannon part works great too, a LOT of foam. I started by using the spray nozzle by itself to wet the truck down, then popped on the cannon part and foamed the cab and hood, then popped the cannon off. After I used my mitt to wipe those areas down, I rinsed it down and then popped the cannon back on and repeated about 4 times and I was done. So easy it's crazy. No need for dragging out a pressure washer and all that hassle just for foam. I had tried a different type of these and it was a joke- it had a lever that was supposed to change from soap to rinse but it always let some soap through so you couldn't get a good rinse so it left soap spots. This thing works awesome. Soooo easy. Sorry I didn't get any pics of the foam on the truck but I'll do that tomorrow when I wash The Beast. The last pic is the ****** one.

Well hell. I got my new TPMS sensors today; I received the bands a few days ago. Now before I say anything else, let me say that I have never had a vehicle with TPMS so I am uninformed to say the least. On my Dubs, there's a second valve stem hole that the tire shop told me was for TPMS sensors. My Denali didn't use them so they put valve stems in there. My billets do not have a second hole so I stupidly assumed the wheels couldn't accommodate sensors. Then another tire shop told me I could use bands to install sensors around the rims on the inside. But I was looking at the AC Delco sensors and noticed they have a valve stem and I was like wha..so a light bulb went off inside my brain and I thought what if...so I looked up the TPMS relearn procedure, went out and followed it (actually did it twice before I got all 4 done fast enough to work) and lookey here. They're all working. I'm going to install the new ones when my wheels come in but it sure is nice to know that GM was kind enough to make a combo sensor/valve stem. And that mine work. I can't believe the PO just needed to reprogram them in order to get the light to go away. Actually doesn't surprise me.

Today I moved my utility trailer out onto the street and put up a canopy for the CC. I sure hope this keeps it clean, I'm tired of it getting dirty a day after I detail it. It seems that bees are attracted to the color and they sure do like to shit all over it. I hope this keeps them away and also keeps all the stuff that comes out of the sky off it. It started raining just after I got it all settled in and so far so good. I did find out the truck is real close to 20' long since the awning is barely long enough for it. Sure wish concrete work isn't so expensive because I'd like to replace the center of my driveway one day but there are other things I'd rather spend a few thousand on.

Nah. I want to be able to see it, so no cocoon that looks ugly. I just want to keep the majority of shit off it. I hate the look of those things with the sides, plus it’s impossible to open the doors so there’s no climbing in and driving away easily. Keep in mind I don’t live in the East where the winters are harsh.

I was thinking the same thing. What about some screen of some kind. That would keep the bees away for sure. Also, you're aware that your house has a GARAGE, right?!

My “garage” was built for Model A’s I think. 1950’s era anyhow. It’s more like a 0.5 car garage lol. I’m thinking the bees won’t see it from above at least I hope they don’t. But they should be gone until spring anyway, now it’s the rain that flushes the pollution out and leaves water spots, and the leaves all over. Are the legs secured in place? Before my house, I parked my S10 that I drove maybe 3 times a month outside and kept the cab under a 10x10 pop-up canopy. I never thought to really secure the legs with more than the ground pins that came with it. Had some wind one night that pulled up the canopy and one of the legs dragged up the side of the truck. The canopy height was adjustable with holes in the legs so I drilled some more holes way low so that I could set it with the roof a few inches from the cab, like the truck was wearing a square pointy beanie. This gave much less area underneath the canopy for the wind to catch and it completely shaded the windshield and windows, which was my main reason for the canopy. I also got four of those corkscrew dog tie-outs to hold the legs in place. It was a little inconvenient having to raise each corner up to be able to open the door and drive out. But I only had to do it a few times a month.

It came with 3/8” concrete anchors and bolts so I used those on the east side which is where my winter winds come from. The west side is up against my fence and not on concrete so I drilled through the tubes and used 3” stainless #10 screws into the 2x4’s. I’m pretty damn sure it will hold but Ill still watch it when we get some east winds. There’s a couple tie-downs at the top of the legs that I could use if needed. One of the reasons I bought this one was I saw one of the reviewers said his stood up to 50 mph winds.
