Awesome. Make sure you document the install for us!

Yea I'm at a crossroads. I have bought all the stuff needed i.e. keys, bilstein 5100s, new rear coil springs and insulators. Problem I'm having is I am at a training academy so i have not tools/garage to do any work.

I emailed 4wheel parts to see if they could just install everything and they said yea! and then quoted me $1200. That price inlcuded the shocks so subtract the $300 i just bought them for......$900 for labor?!?! GTFO :banghead:

So now i have to figure out what to do for install....wait a month or 2 and do it in Memphis at my parents house or wait another week and drive it cross country and do it at my place in Tucson or try to do it in the parking lot here.....

Sounds like a little patience would be rewarded to me.

Picked up my shocks yesterday! So now I have my aftermarket front keys, new rear Z-71 coil springs to freshen my old ass ones up, and my bolstering 5100s!

Thoughts on adding a cool spring spacer to the rear to lift it up an inch or so??

Ride quality, angles, etc...

So dropping my truck off at a shop today. Found one to install my leveling keys and shocks. And I decided to pull the trigger since my rear passenger window decided to take a shit. It's the rainy season here and I don't feel like driving with a trash bag over it. I've already fixed 2 of the windows. Just crappy timing to be away from home for something I can fix.

It’s finally done and I love it!! The level install went smoothly and only ran me like $350. Absolutely no more rubbing so my 285/70/17s can finally breathe. Shop was suppose to take pictures and measurements but of course they forgot

Yea I was thinking the same thing but I’m going to drive it over the weekend and see if it settles. If not I’ll measure and take it back to get that fixed if I need to

Couldn't Figure out the PM of a pic so I'll just post it.

The valence PN you need both clips. One is the retainer and one is the actual clip. 13 total for the whole valence.

The retainer side panels PN he said it is 20 total, but he wasn't positive it was 20 per side or 10 and 10.

The Retainer PN for the side molding he didn't give me a total, but I think those are easy to count. Just priced out 1.

Prices are listed as well. The valence ones are expensive from the dealership, but the clips from amazon didn't work so trying to find another set before biting the bullet for the dealership.

So I'm finally nearing the end of training and have about 4 weeks left. I have some thoughts about stuff I'm going to get done while I stop in Memphis to see my parents. Be there for a few days and have plenty of tools and buddies to help me out. So here's what I'm thinking for my stop through Memphis:

Upgrade the stereo
Have a buddy tune the Tahoe
Install that heavy duty ISS

Pretty excited how everything is coming together on the truck! And I'm finally going to get to installing those aux reverse lights too once I'm back in TX

Well I had a bit of a fender bender this weekend....luckily the damage wasn’t too bad. Well until I had to get an estimate....Of course when I have a plan of mods something always comes up and puts them off

I’m thinking this is a good time to upgrade to a new aftermarket bumper. Think I’m going to go with a Move bumper

They're crazy! Should ask them how much would it cost if you paid cash.
