2015 GMC Yukon XL. Harness part# 23316326
Removed rear bumper and replaced harness myself to save the obscene amount the dealership wanted.

Dealership diagnosed the issue. Upon removal of harness it was full of water. I also replaced the proximity sensors on both sides in rear bumper.

Is the cowl panel in place, just below the wipers. Also, there should be small connector panel on the end of each side. I think this could allow
water into the electronic systems. Battery and chassis ground points should be checked also.
My cowl panel is not in the best shape, but I have it taped with gorilla tape and its nice and tight now.

I don’t suppose you have the part numbers for the switches? Also do you mean the parking sensors when you say proximity switches?

I seen that some people had issues under the cowl, I took mine out and and checked it and they seemed good.
