Good day,

My 2016 Tahoe has always been a hot mess express but kept chugging along until yesterday. It turned over for about 5-8 seconds (it is a push button start), then it seemed to start then immediately died. I hooked up my scanner and retrieved some codes:

Engine Control Module (ECM) (3)
P018B-00 Fuel Pressure Sensor Performance Current
U0074-00 Control Module Communication Powertrain Expansion CAN Bus Off Passed And Failed
U18A2-00 Lost Communication with Fuel Pump Driver Control Module Current

The above codes are new as of today. Below are the codes that were present prior to today's scan. I knew these were here, but the car ran fine so these were more or less "delayed discrepancies" but now i am thinking these may be related.

Transfer Case Control Module (TCCM) (1)
U0415-00 Invalid Data Received From Electronic Brake Control Module Current

Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) (1)

U0077-00 Control Module Communication Chassis Expansion CAN Bus Off Current

Power Steering Control Module (PSCM) (2)

U1833-00 Lost Communication with Electronic Brake Control Module on Chassis Expansion CAN Bus Current
U026A-00 Lost Communication with Vehicle Direction Camera Control Module Current

Suspension Control Module (SCM) (3)

C0590-04 Right Rear Shock Absorber Actuator Circuit - Open Current (bad shock, not related)
C0590-0D Right Rear Shock Absorber Actuator Circuit - High Resistance Current (bad shock, not related)
U0077-00 Control Module Communication Chassis Expansion CAN Bus Off Current

Body Control Module (BCM) (7)

B1527-00 Parasitic Load Passed And Failed
B3006-01 Hood Ajar Circuit - Short To Battery Passed And Failed
B3006-04 Hood Ajar Circuit - Open Passed And Failed
B3109-00 Keyless Entry Transmitter 1 Battery Passed And Failed
B3883-01 License Plate Lamp Circuit - Short To Battery Passed And Failed
B3883-04 License Plate Lamp Circuit - Open Passed And Failed
U023A-00 Lost Communication with Vehicle Direction Camera Control Module Passed And Failed

Inflatable Restraint Sensing And Diagnostic Module (IRSDM) (1)

U0077-00 Control Module Communication Chassis Expansion CAN Bus Off Current

Media Disc Player (MDP) (1)

B1280-18 Rear Seat Audio Input Signal Circuit - Low Signal Amplitude Current

Parking Assist Control Module (PACM) (1)

B0958-04 Parking Assist Rear Sensor Left Corner Circuit - Open Current (I get indications every startup that the parking sensing is off)

After some quick research, I found myself under the hood looking at the fuse block and associated wiring. I discovered a connector that looked "off". Upon further inspection, it looks as though 4 wires in this bundle seem to have been repaired at some point as this does not look factory. Two separate sets of wires taped together? For now i removed the fuse block and thinking at a minimum, need to trace these wires back to where the tape stops, but any other ideas? Where does this wire bundle go to? I see it goes through the firewall, and i think it goes through the driver sill plate and to the back to various systems.

Any help is appreciated!

I had some issues on my 07 that lead me to the driver sill plate where I found some wires chafing. You might also want to check the grounds. This many codes sounds a lot like grounding issues.
