Not to dissuade you from tuning it out,
but I believe someone here mentioned a brake booster sensor disconnect would disable AFM..?

Just get a BBP tune. It'll make your transmission operate better, and last longer as a happy side-effect.

Diablo intune will do it also. Cheaper option if you can’t find someone

It's ok to handle it yourself, no shame in it.. perfectly natural.
