My nightmare finally happened, I installed my WHipple 3.0 SC at 20k, 10k after MAP failed and its installed in the rear by firewall so a complete SC uninstall was required to replace it. AFter all on hose was left loose and on the trial run coolant leaked and engine overheated and that contributed to AFM failure! lifters sounding like crazy so I need to replace all. I really want to delete the AFM but since the Whipple software comes locked from HP Tuners it cannot be deleted software and mechanical delete is useless if oftware disablong is not done also.
All the way in Dominican Republic been 2 weeks and have not been able to get a straight parts required quote from most shops.
At this point I need help from the forum, first I can't find or remember the tuner here that retunes the SUpercharger setups if someone could point me in the right direction to reach him please. Second is, any referral to a company that sells the complete kit to repair the engine to bring it back to life with complete parts kit would be incredible.
Plenty of used engines from junk yards in the US, and the rebuilt ones in Ebay should be able to hold the power of the Whipple 3.0 but no seller has made a comment that the engine will not hold, that they need to upgrade pistons and rods and (I) we are not going down that road.
So at this point I need the engine tuner to make the custom tune after i repair the AFM system damage and the KIt for all the parts that should be changed, which I have been recommended to do water and oil pump also.
