sold my sivlerado 1st of january and got a tahoe to haul my boys around a bit more comfortablly. however my truck had everything under the sun and this limited tahoe is for the most part....stock. time to get busy.
so this weekend im installing an alpine cda-9857 (oldie but a goody) and JL Audio c5 components with tr650cxi coaxs in the rear with using a JL 300/2 (puting those on the components and letting radio push rears) then a JL 500/1 on 2 JL 12w3v3s sealed. gonna be down firing. wanted 3 10s but got impatient looking for right ohm load at a good deal. so....2 12s it is. also got a 1 farrad digital cap with ALL JL wiring. also got a bulk pack of dynamat going on all the doors. for right now im going to use a prefab box just to get it on and going. shortly after that im gonna custom build the box and amp rack. just havent made up my mind if im wrapping it it carpet or vinyl to match the learther. i guess i got time to figure that one out. so fellas...Saturday will be a busy one for me. but damn am i ready to hear this thing breathe...

shiiiiiiiit my bad fellas. ya system is in and doin' the damn thang. nuthin really custom yet. prefab box with the amps and cap under the back seat. buuuut i plan on doing the custom set up here in the next few weeks. i have to redo the tint job on here first. this tint job looks as if Ray Charles tinted it. so fixing that then on to the custom set up. THEN ill post the pics. but as far as sound goes its super clean and far as only 2 12s.....it gets down pretty good. hahaha
