I live in montevallo Alabama, basically the direct middle of the state. Im looking for a good tuning shop for my 2017 tahoe. It has stage 2 cam built transmission, full heatesder back exhaust 3in. It was tuned by what seems to be a very unknowledgeable tuner, possibly new to these vehicles. Its very poorly tuned along with the transmission, this was done in Texas before I got it. I have fixed almost all of the issues that that I can find except some minor exhaust work. And now I need it properly tuned so my fuel gauge doesnt drop dramatically after idling for 5 min, and it doesnt go through spark plugs in 1500 miles, also I would like to be able to actually hear that it has a cam. I heard it for a little bit when I replaced the ignition components and fixed all kinds of issues.

I'm not sure that your 2 stated issues are directly related to a bad or non-sufficient tune.

It ran great for a week or so after everything was replaced and little issues fixed, like poorly connected and also cracked pcv lines, stripped our header bolts that were causing leaks. All of the repairs were made before the full tune up was performed. The it slowly started running worse and back to almost how it was before the tunenup. The plugs were fouled out within about 1500 miles and the exhaust reeks of a very rich air fuel mixture. I also know the guy that tuned it admitted to not know very much after work was done.

Before investing in a new tune, I would start by checking your short, long-term fuel trims, to make sure that your fuel mixtures are proper.

No, there were a few pop up as I was fixing and cleaning things but nothing has come back at all
if there are no codes then you are probably just going to need to either find a local tuner or buy a tune from some one such as blackbear performance, they can do tunes via email but you need to buy the autocal, the autocal is used to both a do a drive record and load a tune on the vehicle

I spoke with blackberry and they said they dont do remote tunes on the 5th Gen with an aftermarket cam, and I was hoping that someone on here was familiar with my area and give a good review or recommendation. I figured i was going to have to have a tune and they may find more wrong than I know about. Im just hoping it doesn't break the bank. Lol I know im looking at putting some money into it though

Remedial action depends on what's not right. Post up those fuel trims as @Joseph Garcia recommended. You can take pics of your scanner's screen, showing the trims.

Might want to get them at hot idle, and at about 1800 rpm.

Doesn't sound like a tuner that doesn't know what he is doing, sounds like the guy wrenching didn't know what he was doing. Can't tune something properly that is mechanically flawed.
Your best bet is to find someone who both tunes and works on these trucks, that way they can diagnose the mechanical issues in concert with the tuning data.
