The zl1 is a factory twin disk stall designed to hold mega HP and only costs 400 bucks. Was an easy decision for me.

Factory 6.2 is 3.5 inch into a 3 inch section by the bumper. I have a 3" straight through Corsa touring that is in my garage. Even the touring was a bit much with headers, but I may put it back on just to test if it picks up anything.
Doubt it will make any difference unless you intend on winding out the RPMs regularly.

Need to figure out the exhaust soon, the stock flexpipe is about to rust off. Corsa Touring sounds ok with the vibrant resonator, but I was considering possibly quieting it down even further by taking off the muffler and putting on the stainless works chambered muffler.

You know, if you ever decide you have some time to capture the process that you use to analyze the tune data and make decisions about how to proceed, and also precisely how you do it, I suspect many people here and elsewhere would find it useful. It's a steep learning curve, but one that I'm interested in climbing. There's a bottle of nice Scotch in it for you if you ever decide to do it.Played with the tune some more and got DFCO to activate. I am hoping this can get me some MPG back! I am going to make it as aggressive as I can without stalling the truck.
Also measured my Corsa muffler, it's 28 inches long so I'd imagine the stainless works one will be a lot louder. I could add another resonator, but I don't want to hack up the nice Corsa piping anymore than I did already.

I mainly just do this stuff for my own vehicles because I tend to obsess about things I don't understand, so that leads to days and days of trial and error lol. Right now the DFCO stuff is my new obsession lol.
I develop software for a living, and most of that is troubleshooting and debugging.

I can relate - I used to write software for oilfield drilling operations in the 90s and then went on to do systems integration work for network operations centers. I enjoy figuring stuff out but since having kids I find screen time purely for learning rare.

DFCO is Deceleration Fuel Cut Off. I had to look it up and Wikipedia had it.
