Z55 Air-ride set-up removal

My '07 Escalade came with the RPO-Z55 air ride set-up. A prior owner either replaced or by-passed the rear air-ride stuff.

I just read that there are one piece bypass modules that will prevent the suspension warnings from showing on the dash. The truck drives ok, I'd just like to stop the warnings.

Do y'all have any help with this?

I may need the same thing if/when my z55 shocks go out.. Don't know anything about the system yet...
BUT Amazon has a bunch of kits, looks like they spoof the shocks and ride height sensors..

I've been digging, and have found that a 3.9 ohm 25 watt resistor at each shock is supposedly the answer for "spoofing" the system to get rid of the suspension warning light on the dash; unless, of course, your truck suffers from some other cause, lol.

Anybody have any input on this?

Thanks. It's good confirmation of the basic work, but I'd feel better if he'd told us the resistor's ohmage.

LOL, my crawling around under my truck days are all behind me.

I stopped and talked to my mechanic today. He had a general awareness of the resistor install solution, but didn't know any specifics. He's willing to try it though.

(I don't know if I've said this yet, but my compressor does not work. I don't even know if it's still there.)

So any way, thanks man. I'm saving this but, again, I'd feel better if the resistors' specs were given.

I suspect that even if they don't do what I want, they can't do any harm; but I'm no electrician. Can any of y'all confirm that guess?

Yeah, I've already read a few variations of that- do the compressor, do the shocks, and do both.

Fuses have come up once or twice now, so does anyone have solid knowledge about them?

Confirming that 3-5 Ohm 25 Watt resistors will do the trick to eliminate the dash warning. If the compressor fuse is still in place, remove it.

What about a resistor for the [missing or disconnected] compressor; with or without the compressor fuse installed?

With a resistor on each of the 4 shocks electrical connectors, and the compressor fuse pulled, you should have no dash warnings.

My factory ECM was limited to 98mph.. So you'll need that tuned first..

I think if there is a fault in the suspension system, there maybe another speed limiter..
But since you're tricking it, shouldn't be an issue.. ?
