How are you all getting the spray to the coil ? How do you see there's dirt on the coil ? I may need to clean mine but don't know how.\
Thanks

This is what my '08 Burb's evaporator looked like after cutting the spot open to do the retrofit (12 years worth of junk built up when i did it in 2020). Put a drain pan on the floorboard and use some tin foil to direct the junk into the pan and use some coil cleaner.

Winter is coming soon so yesterday i changed both DR seat heaters on the wife's 13 Avalanche. Not a bad job at all. Took about an hour and a half.
Also had a set of new LED fog lights sitting here for a few months, so i installed them also. Not tried them at night yet but im sure they have to be better than stock, Hope the aim is good tho.

Sneak peek of my grab handle.
Well it's the passenger side handle, flipped upside down to maintain the slight outward angle. Will probably have to space it out 1/4"-1/2" to stand proud of the driver side trim..

Not sure it'll work out, I haven't cut the trim, waiting for a spare to show up with extra handle.

Chopped up some more ikea bath towel holder "grundtal" for the base material. 3mm thick stainless.

Planning to 3d print a couple handle base trims to blend into a-pillar..

Think I strained my neck trying to squeeze the m6 rivnut with a handheld riveter (I got a proper 16" nutsert tool now), and these 5/32" stainless rivets are no joke with the handheld either. 1/8" stainless is easy, the amazon 5/32" rivets though are significantly harder to pop!

interesting mod. I could definitely use a handle from time to time.

on a side note. first trip with the adjustable head rest I like it, helped being able to move it around hours into the drive.

back from 2300 mile round trip up to the mountains towing the car. truck did great, I did notice the oil pan gasket leaking a bit. time to drop the pan blah haha.

no issue with the oily/wheel bearing. ran cool and didn't seem to throw any more. very weird, but happy about that

I wish GM made the ds handle a standard deal. Would really help us old farts out.

No idea how old the old battery was, so put in a new battery today.
Did notice tho, if a guy was to trim off a little piece of the battery tray at the rear of the battery you could stuff a much bigger sized battery in there. What size, i dunno?
