The wiper arms on my mustangs have been the easiest ever to remove. Just raise it to the stay position, slide the metal tab at the base out about 1/8", then lift the arm off. They've been like this since '79 at least.

Just got my ECM back from having AFM deleted. No more Amazon cheapo Range type device. LS1swap is a great company. Painless and fast. No more issues with smog tests or battery drain.

How quick was the turnaround?
Did you stand the arm in the up position so you can use it as leverage? ( close the hood first) I’ve never had luck with the arm in the down position.

I sent it fron Chicago. Got to him on Friday. I received it back TODAY ! Prob a week total max. Simple deal and very reasonable.

I was gonna suggest this. Stand it out straight and rock it up and down while pulling and pushing like you're trying to stab it through the windshield. Be sure to mark the wiper to the splined stud before you remove it so you can put it back in the same position. Or, if you're replacing it, mark the glass with a Sharpie on some painter's tape under the wiper blade.

Drove mine about 2000 miles down to the Gulf Coast and back, then gave it a nice wash yesterday to get bugs and mud off the exterior, and vacuumed all the sand and road trip snack crumbs from the interior. Tahoe did good, first time driving it that far since the DoD delete, averaged just under 21 mpg at 75 mph over the trip.

Installed the Dorman manifold clamp, due to broken stud on the end. A little tight, but no dramas.
The other side will be my nemesis, up there with those stupid ATF cooler lines.

I wish someone made a bolt on fixture that centered a short reverse drill bit. with some good penetrating oil I bet 90% of these would screw right out.
or like one of those body shop stud welders that tacks the nail looking thing onto body panels and then a slide hammer is used to pull the metal but to the bolt and then they twist out.

Just have to be able to access the studs straight on. I have so many head-shields and sound deadening that it almost seems like you'd have to pull the engine to get proper access.

Weld the inside of a nut to the broken stud.
If the stud is recessed too far below the surface of the manifold flange, use a piece of copper tubing to keep the weld from sticking to the sides of the hole in the manifold flange. Weld won't stick to copper, and build up the bolt with weld metal, then weld the nut over the top.
Or just unbolt the manifold from the head.

received Melling water pump. Pump looks ok so far as i can tell, no weep hole visible (maybe its hidden by pulley?)
thermostat neck looks a little porous. Hoping stock one will look good and I wont have to use this new one. Also included a motorad thermostat. Are they good to go?

Yup. Always had good luck with melling and motorad stuff.
Drove my ‘07 600 miles to Nashville for a company event. Looking at flights, I would’ve spent the same amount of time between connections, layovers, security, and Uber rides. And I enjoy driving very much after nearly 2 million miles on the airlines over the last 20 years. Popped my Buc-ee’s cherry, too!

My buddy in TX, who makes decent money in the ISP sector, showed me two job postings for a Buc-ee's 20 miles from his house:
1st was $125k per year for the car wash manager, and 2nd was $250k/year for the general manager. He's thinking about applying for both.
