You are to the point that you need to soak that SOB in Kroil or PB Blaster overnight and then just commit to getting it out. Keep spraying either one while you are working on it.
You know that an adjustable wrench has it's place, but putting ugga dugga's into something is not it's place. I would strongly suggest you drill out the center of the sensor and see if that releases some of the binding. Then you put a 6 point deep well on it and with either an impact or a 24" breaker bar, alternate between tightening and loosening motions, work that damn thing out of there. You have to be more stubborn that then sensor and I am willing to bet you can be pretty damn stubborn.
I know you are afraid of damaging your collector pipe, don't be. Your choices are a stuck sensor, a potentially damaged bung that is fixable at an exhaust shop and a sensor that is out and then some threads to clean up and then put a new sensor in.

It will work with propane but works much better with Mapp. Buy a spare oxygen tank. you will use two to one and there is nothing more inconvenient than running out 1/2 way through a job.

I second the kroil best shit ever! You got this, a new bung is less than a $20 fix even if you really mess it up.

I actually JB welded a bung in place years ago before I had welder friends or a welder. It worked and I wouldn't hesitate to do it again.
Hell I even JB welded a freeze plug that rusted out. Never had any issues after that.

Go out and soak that bastard right now and then again in the morning. If you have to, hit the thing dead on with a hammer to bust some of that loose.

Next $12 you have to spend on something dumb get a can it's like magic. But Blaster is great as well, tap with a hammer all around it after you apply the blaster. The side impact and vibrations work wonder on ball joints and I'm sure it will help in this situation. If you dont have the right size wrench go to harbour freight and buy it cheap. I have a bunch of odd sized wrenches that dont match any sets because I did the same thing and have mostly retired my adjustable wrenchs to hammer duty.

Definitely. You need a small torch at least! I probably have 4 or 5 nozzles around the garage and shed and a few bottles. Super convenient for many things. I think I paid around $20 for a kit with the nozzle and tank at Home Depot. Harder to get MAPP now unfortunately..
