We have a 25 XL at4 duramax with super cruise and max trailer and we do not have the turn signal activated mirrors. Kinda a bummer as with supercruise you have all the cameras needed.
But is your system upgraded to the latest software with Android 14?....I don't mean OTA updated I mean the big one from the dealer.

Does not make any difference...before I traded in my 2025 Yukon I had the dealer update the system to Android 14 and still did not have any turn signal cameras, but I did get the camera recording with that update. My new 2026 Yukon AT4 Duramax does have the Android 14 and does have the turn signal cameras which activate whether towing or not towing. On the sticker of my 2026 it says a future update for rear view camera recording.

Not two kinds of Android 14 just two kinds of updates, my dealer advised that not all updates get pushed OTA. When they are too big for OTA the dealer has to do them using the Techtool through the OBD2 port. But apparently that update has no bearing on this particular feature. Which is odd because I thought the Turn Signal Viewer feature was to allow the driver to see the blind spot down the side of the vehicle when turning, nothing to do with trailering. I like it because we have arogant bicycle riders who like to ride in your blind spot all the time.

This feels more like a "GM tying certain features to certain packages" type of thing as opposed to any technical limitations.

The vehicles already have the cameras and everything is run by software, it would not be a major update to have the right camera turn on when the right indicator is being used
