So the steering wheel trim? Why not, I’m getting good at this shit.

I’m starting to wonder if the radio and hvac bezel would look better black...opinions?

I'm seeing it both ways:

1) The all-silver has more of a prominent modified appeal

2) Having those parts black would tone down the modified appeal and tie it in with the black center of the steering wheel- kinda "balancing" out the whole scheme.

Final thought: It's called "The Machine". If it were mine, I'd probably keep it as-is with all brushed metal to emphasize the machine-like appearance.

Anyway to just put a narrow border of black along one side or the other along the mating lines? Kind of like a shadow line technique I use sometimes with woodworking to hide a joint. Eye can’t perceive a 1/16” variation in a line that is 1/4” nominal width like it can in a line that is 1/8” nominal width.

Mine can lol. My trade specializes in 1/32” reveal differences. Glaziers are the only ones who utilize 1/32” shims on every job site. And I don’t see a way to do that anyway but good idea. I’m gonna try to adjust the reveals and if I can’t get them perfect I’ll remove the wrap from those.

I decided to start on my headlights. The plan is to start over with new Depos and this time use a better clear coat on the inside after CM’ing them and also replace the defective demon eye. I got the lens off the passenger side but I think the oven element came on while the driver side was in there. All I know is smoke started pouring out after 5 minutes and the thing is completely melted lol. Talk about a stinky house. All the doors are open and it no longer smells like a Christmas tree in here. Ordered a new light on Amazon, it will be here in 2 days. Project on hold.
