@04Huck how'd you secure the driver side sway bar mount?

They mean for you to drill and tap it the same size as the original holes and reuse the bolts. I ****** up and went one size too large so I had to buy some hardware. No big deal, I just road around without he bar for a couple days till I could go to the hardware store. $12 later I was back in business

Looks like I'm going to the hardware store tomorrow.
I also for the life if me could not cut the brackets off (free travel mod)

Best thing for those brackets is, take the sway bar off, disconnect the brake line bracket from the rear end (so you don't pull the lines too tight), take off the rear shocks and let the axle droop as far as you can. You'll have plenty of room then. I used a sawzall with some good metal blades to make the initial cut. Just started at the rear of the drivers side and worked my way forward, basically using the frame rail as a guide for the blade while being careful not to dig into the frame. Just be careful near the front cuz the fuel tank is right there.
Then same process on the passenger side, there's more room over there. Then used a grinder to clean it all up and a little black paint.

I'l give it a shot on my next brake. I work tomorrow night and it' too late in the day for me now. Since I just put the truck back together. I'm gonna figure this sway bar out first. I'm driving from Northern Va to Massachusetts soon so I want to get that figured out before then

Might be a silly question but since I used spindles and did new LCAs is an alignment necessary? The truck still drives straight and the steering wheel is centered. Only reason. I ask is I was planning on getting one Friday however I'm also planning on doing UCAs and tierods soon and I know I'll need an alignment after that

If you’re gonna do the other work soon and don’t drive that far, I wouldn’t worry about it, just get it done once. If it may be awhile though, I’d get it done now and again later. 2 alignments are a lot cheaper than 2 tires

So i just went on Mcgaughy's and i couldn't find anything for the 03 Yukon Denali under the category bar. I searched it manually in their site and all the prices say $0.00 and that checkout is currently unavailable. Are they fixing the website or are they not doing these ones anymore?

So I'm still unable to do this free travel mod. My harbor freight sawsall isn't strong enough so my friend is gonna let me try a dewalt one. We'll see how that goes.
I also can't get this sway bar figured out. I drilled the hole and moved it over 2 inches but it ends up hitting the shock in that location so I moved it back

Yeah 2” would be too much. I didn’t measure but between 1-1.25 is what I did mine. You want to full assemble the bar on the truck with all the hardware loose and get it where it needs to sit. Then you can play with where that mount goes. You have wiggle room though, you shouldn’t need to move the mount again, just loosen it (and all the hardware) enough to push the bar back to the drivers side a little

The thing is I can only move it from mounting on the left or right side of the sway bar endlinks. When I mount it on the left side it's stock and doesn' really bang on anything. But when I mount it on the right side which is recommended it touches the shock and a mount on the driver side

Mount them on the right side and give it all a good shove. It’ll move. Use your foot if you need to lol

Yup, basically. Just do it a little at first and increase the force till it moves a touch. Just needs a little persuasion

Yes I just added keys to it. Keys were useless really. A bit of overkill imo.
