Yeah but no CarPlay without the cable right?
I can stream any music source from my iPhone, and have hands free calls. The only thing I can’t do is display my iPhone screen apps on Tahoe screen wirelessly. I’m ok with that. Probably would be “air play” if I could. Map software is already on my radio. Just not Waze.

Can you search through artists, albums, podcast etc on your phone via the Tahoe screen? I figured you could only do that via CarPlay screens.

Either way waze alone is worth it to me to plug in my phone.

But to each their own. Glad you got wireless charging to work. Just seems like a lot of work to eliminate a small cable and lose CarPlay altogether.

Yes I can browse music on my device, and my mod took less than 10 minutes. WAZE can be hit or miss, that’s why I run an ****** Redline Ex, with Waze running on a separate device on long trips

I mean browse on the Tahoe screen to my music saved on my iPhone. By Bluetooth I can browse by song, artist, etc. Believe me, it can be done

Ah ok cool. Does it have to be saved on the phone or can you access music in the cloud (Spotify, Apple Music etc)?

No clue about those. I don’t spend my coins on it since I have XM for less than $3.00 per month for the next 4 years anyway

Yeah me too.

Sometimes like to listen to what I want when I want though.

Either way thanks for the info. Try out CarPlay sometime. It’s pretty slick.

This is what I ordered and installed. I wonder if it was boxed wrong?

That looks like the older module. The new module I got was black. If it were me, I'd re-order through TASCA. I've bought through them several times and while they can sometimes be very slow, I've never had a product issues.

I wish I had a picture of the module that you guys used, to show my GM parts guy and compare to the one they sold me. I am going to check for power and ground and if that is present I will ask for another module. He said he thinks the dealer had a wireless charging tester but nobody knew where it was.

This is what I have and it works fine with my iPhone XS with the case on. Maybe you have a defective unit. Yours looks the same as mine

It looks like I do not have 12v to the #1 terminal of the connector. Which is the Violet/yellow. Anyone know what fuse supplies the power. I checked the 2 dash fuse boxes and the one underhood and none that I could tell were blown.

Success! Dealer could not tell me what fuse powered the wireless charger other than it was with the RAP. Since my retained acc power functions I looked further and found three broken wires around the console door hinge.

I fixed the wires, installed the new module and it WORKS.

Considering doing this on my 16 Denali, did anyone change or rotate the mat, or simply plug/play from the underside?

I added it to my lt tahoe that didn’t have wireless charging. Just tapped into 12v power source at lighter behind console. I bought the rubber charging mat as well. Mine works the right way without reversing. iPhone 11pro
