Getting the right AC bracket for my truck and hopefully getting this whipple done this week. My old AC bracket came with a smog pump from when i grabbed the motor from a 92 K5blazer. The whipple was designed without the smog pumps..

Looking forward to the results and pictures.

i won't lie i've been skimping on the pictures as time has not been on my side and i'd rather not have an I Phone screen covered with oil :) i'll take some of the current state and the new spider installed in it atleast.

Still amazed that the lower intake only gets torqued to 11 ft. lbs.... seems was to loose?

11lbs? geez thats like finger torquing lol

so low i couldn't even use the good torque wrench on it, had to go back to beam type, but even then idk how "on" it is that low... borrowing a buddies Snap on In. lb. torque wrench for the upper and now set on needing a set of $250 (a piece) torque wrenches! haha

but thats what the chilton (IIRC) book has it listed at AND thats the third torque round... :boxed:

Figuring out why my wiper arm on the driver side decided to stop working last night. Hoping for a loose nut or something easy to fix.

Also, my brakes feel a little soft. So I'll bleed them tonight and see if that helps. Thinking I have some air in the lines right now.

Bought some 6x9's for the rear too yesterday. But they seem too deep to fit in the roof space. So I might have to find something different.

those digital torque wrenches are sex. Make like soo much easier!!

Purplehoe- they are factory at 4x10, but you can buy an adapter plate to make them work for a 6x9..

its just a clicker torque wrench, it would be sweet to have one of the digitals though. have come across some cheaper ones but don't trust them to be as good a good torque wrench.

Those diggys are expensive :( They beep and vibrate tho when your dead nuts on the torque spec.

Mike- You guys dont have all the problems yet with old trucks. wait a few years when yours is 15years old.. haha
