After being parked for almost three weeks, I took it to bring a friend and her daughter to Walmart. Along the way, I went through the car wash twice to really clean it and to entertain her daughter. Needed fuel so I stopped for about 12 gallons of E85. We finally made it to Walmart and took our time. I grabbed a few things while I was there. Had a spirited drive to drop them off then enjoyed a chill drive home with the windows cracked to let this 64° weather in. It'll probably stay parked until next Friday.

It did! I've been in a rental for work all week- a '21 F250 crew cab. It rides like a wagon and hops all over the road when it's rough because the suspension is so stiff. I now have a greater appreciation for the relative comfort, flat handling and response of my Tahoe.

They really do have a predictable and comfortable ride! My comparison is my 2-door wrangler which is also excellent at helping me appreciate the ride of my Tahoe!

I did what someone did a few pages back, installed a full set of the Husky Mud/Splash Guards today. What a pain in the ass, having to pull the rear wheels off, but I got it done.

That was me. Rears definitely a bit annoying. But worth it. Definitely doesn’t get filthy as quickly and should help keep stones from attacking the paint.

There’s only a few threads out there on some vehicles doing it and they seem related to the theft deterrent system. Maybe I can find something with my Tech2.
Thinking about it, years go I had an alarm system on a vehicle that would arm/disarm via a remote fob. It would chirp once when arming and twice when disarming. If it chirped 3 times when disarming it meant that the alarm had been set off during this time and reset after the 1 minute of going off.

I noted that occasionally my horn beeps three times when I unlock with my fob after being in the store a while. Can’t find a solid answer on the interwebs. Any advice?

^^^ THIS!!! ^^^^

Maybe someone installed the tilt and shock sensors? Do you get a message on your DIC when you pull the key out to turn it off? Tech-2 will show alarm activity.

I do get a message that says “press the check to disable motion sensor”
Cool, someone added the GM accessory tilt and or shock sensor to your truck.

The tilt sensor is mounted on top of the bracket that holds the BCM in place. The shock sensor is secured to the main wiring harness under the dash with a tie strap. The former is a square box, the latter is rounded with a dial for adjustment for sensitivity.

I also found this on the GM website but I didn’t find the shock sensor.
