So what you are both saying is take it to the mechanic. Got it. And I was also just contemplating buying the entire hinge instead of just the pin and bushing. But then again, I have no helper and possibly no available way to strap the door or keep it from leaning.
I would have a body shop do it if anyone, more experience

On Sat, I swapped out the front & rear differential fluids on the Suburban at 135k miles. The Mityvac fluid dispenser made it very easy.

It doesn’t look like it had been changed by the previous owner.

Changed the transfer case fluid (used ACD Dex VI) and gave it my first oil change since I’ve had it.

Put on the Fumoto valve I had on my previous vehicle. Makes draining the oil a much cleaner process.

Used a filter magnet I had on a previous vehicle. I’ll cut it open at the next oil change to see if there are many metal particles in the oil.

Also used a longer filter.

Finally put in the Sirrus XM antenna thru the antenna hole that was in the roof of the truck. Used the rubber body plugs. Thankfully had a few extra plugs. The connector on the end of the XM antenna tore the crap out of the plug. Had to put silicone over it to seal up the hole. Hopefully no leaks.

Replaced my front door seals. FYI, GM parts direct suck ass. Had to harass the crap out of them to get the seals shipped. Took a month for them to send them out. ******** COVID excuses.

Looking for the rear door seals as well as the body seal that runs from the bottom of the windshield to the back of the rear side doors.

Need to change the diff fluid, rear axle fluid and front axle fluid.

The seal that slips over the metal lip around the entire perimeter of the opening? You have part numbers? I need to replace my driver's side. The oil spill from last weekend deteriorated the foam rubber.

Flushed the coolant, cleaned the beauty cover then took it for a victory lap while I watched the data stream on my scanner. It said it was delivering 491Nm of torque, which converts to 362 ft.-lbs. I assume that's INTO the transmission. IATs were averaging 5° above ambient. The coolant temp gauge was showing where it always does- half a needle width over 210°. But, the scanner showed the coolant temp sensor to be reporting 194°-198°. What am I missing here?

Also, not that I go by the OLM, but I forgot to reset it at the last oil change and it was down to 34%. I set it to 85% just cuz.

Hardwired the new Kenwood dash cam so it will record if some one crashes into me while parked

So does it turn on before they hit or after the G-Sensor detects an impact? I leave mine on when out and about and set to turn on with the sensor at night in the driveway; if I remember!

Not missing anything. The dash gauge is intentionally dumb (read: wrong) so the needle points middle so people don't freak out. High 190s is good. Stock stat is 187, i believe.

the manual say's it is on standby and records if it detects a impact which is fine obviously if my vehicle is parked then the vehicle hitting mine is at fault
