What makes them HD?

I am guessing more blades than SD but I have never really paid attention to how many blades mine have.
the shroud is bigger, one side is 9 blade the other 7 blade and the motors are 700w each versus 500w each, the stock one on mine has (2) 5 blade fans, fitment is the same frame wise but the HD shroud is about 2.5" thicker probably because of the bigger motors but I will know more once I dive into it, this one is from a hummer. I don't really have a specific reason for doing this other than it's freaking hot here in the summer, not really desert hot but hot enough and I just like things a little more heavy duty than normal I am kind of rough on my vehicles. I am going to take these old motors out and pressure wash it and clean it up and try see what I can put on it to make it look like new again.

Nothing wrong with upgrading... any time I have to do anything I try to figure out a way to upgrade and/or improve.

I will have to look at mine more closely. I will also have to check the spare set I have... lol

Been driving her to a tune of $55 every 2 days while I'm working on the gas saver's suspension. Still getting use to these 20s. I miss my 4's.

I did mine and I want to say it was the brown and black. What I did was tap the wires, test the blinker, tap different wires, test the blinker. Sorry I can't be more help.
No problem, sir. Thanks for replying. I actually did it Wednesday. I learned how to work my volt meter (reading is fundamental!), and tested and found that it is the inner black, and the green, as I thought. I'll take pics and add them to my build thread later today if I have time. I'm full led on the front now, with the fog lights wired to the DRL's as per the other thread. Vehicle is 10+ years old, and I have had my fogs on, I'm sure, less than 10 times before I did this mod. Looks awesome though, I must say!

Dang, 100+ mile commutes. I'd need to be making some serious jack to drive that far. I can't stomach the idea of driving to Atlanta every day for work.

140 miles here...thats why i dont commmmmute in the tahoe...and why there is 325k on my honda....
My gas saver, 93 Mazda Protege, has 300k and it was time for a front end refresher. And a proper coilover setup. I still have to adjust them down roughly 2 inches to get to the former height and install the rear camber bolt that I broke. Then it's off to alignment.

I work in Big Pharma, so I get paid decent money, lol. But my gas saver, it's half that price in gas. Plus, I love to drive so its no biggie. I leave home at 6am, get to work at 7. Leave work at 4pm and get my son by 515 and back home at 530 or so.

I park the same way. I try to find a spot with no parking on the other side and I leave as much space as possible on the other side.

worked on the passenger side HID because it has been intermittent past week, found a corroded connector, put a new connector on and ground, put it back together and i'll be dammed 10 minutes later the drivers side goes out!, ballast died, should be good to go again now, at least it's not raining or 20deg outside.
