Finally had the chance to give her a wash after about 6weeks...and now it's going to rain Thursday...
There's tire slime on it now too.

Figured out I didnt like how the pushbar looked on the yukon. It just was small compared to the rest of the truck. So I will hold out till I can find a Setina for cheap. So I will be putting the Push Bar on the VW though so that'll be fun.

I just gave a Rough Country pushbar for free the other day. They end up being damage-multipliers for anything larger than a bush. The brackets are a huge weak-point, and the entire thing just gets in the way when I would work on my engine.

I did keep the lightbar that came with it, and am gonna see if I can mount it behind my grill, as the wiring and switch were already installed when I bought the rig.

I was gonna mount some lights on it because I do a LOT of nighttime driving..but found out they make Ditch light brackets for our trucks. So I'll go that route instead.

Oh nice... Got a link for those? I've been contemplating that route as well, especially if I already have a power souce and switch wired.

I had one on the K2 for a long time, and removed it after I got the winch bumper. It’s in my shed. Dunno if it can be fitted to your Yukon.
It should. I've seen people but Tahoe Push Bars on Yukons so I'm just assuming the mounting is the same between platforms. It'd be expensive to ship tho lol

Rotated the tires and adjusted air pressure.
Am the only one that runs a few psi more in front than the rear due to differences in weight?

I'll be interested to see your evaluation of the results with the lights shining over a white hood. The possibility of glare is one reason I didn't go that route with my Tahoe when I installed my driving lights.

That is my concern to. I have cab lights on my C10 and those arent even bright but the glare is there on the hood. Partially why I wanna go matte black on that truck.
However if I get spot beam style it might help to elevate over getting a flood type light.

I had the glare issue with white hood and my ditch lights. That helped me decide they will be ditch/alley lights pointed about 45 deg or more.
(Really what I wanted them for, making sharp turns in the bush, can't see anything on the sides)

Straight on, lots of glare with white hood. Better putting lights out front for anything pointed forward imho.

I do alot of nightime rural driving so I would have them pointed at at least 30* or better. The headlights and fogs are decent enough for forward vision but I want some more tree line sight since those bastard deer seem to love jumping out randomly.
