Top speeds aren't much different between the gear sets, 3.08, 3.42, 3.73. They just get you there faster the lower (numerically higher) you go.

Trans gear ratios have a lot to do with it also, with coefficient of drag being the limiting factor

This is no conversation for your logic. Get outta here with all that!

Washed her. Cleaned her up so I can take pics to sell her (black on black 2011 Suburban LT 1500), and buy me a Silverado 2500hd. I then glimpsed at her again, and I just couldn't bear selling her. I mean, I've spent over $4k replacing oem suspension components, plus have installed Hellwig sway bars, bilstein 4600s, and 2500hd springs..... I just couldn't part with her . So what I've decided was to buy a 6x10 trailer to haul stuff instead .

Well the 28’s on my Escalade was short lived. Hit the smallest pothole and broke a tire

ouch.. that tire is properly broken.

anyone know if there's a different fan ratings for different trucks in the new brushless years? I know there's some difference in these brushed fans. blade count and stuff, but find nothing about new ones. with summer fast approaching I'm about ready to revisit this brushless conversion idea.

thinking oem take off from ebay. cheap enough to test fit.

the problem is I don't think they even fit, it may require quit a bit of modification

ahh are they physically larger?

I pulled up what I could from pics and mounting tabs are different but if the size covers the radiator, mounts shouldn't be to horrible.

I wonder where I can find over all dimensions. maybe I'll look of radiator.

They measure about 34.5 wide and maybe 18 high, hard to tell without pulling them out, not sure how they will run with the voltage on a gmt900 it's a different type of motor, c

oh sweet.. I'll go measure mine in a bit.

they are brushless, so need for relays and stuff, direct from the back of the alt power is the best source, takes the load off the factory wiring as well. jcase are slow blow guess, inline 40amps should be good. and then speed is controlled thru one pwm wire. you can most likely just switch in a drop down box to convert your really trigger ground into a pwm to run them. but mine isn't defined in hpt, so I will need a conversion box. it's a bit on the pricy side for what it is. but it takes my 3 relay inputs and outputs a low, med and high speed pwm for the fans to use.

I do a lot of mods these days that wouldn't always make sense to younger me. haha. but since I don't really mod for hp these days, I have replaced that with things like fan mods that I find interesting.

Nope wheel is fine thankfully

What are you going to use to control them?

rpm extreme makes a box with 3 inputs for pwm output for brushless cooling fans. mine being a odd ball having 3 speeds instead of the normal 2. it should be good.

I wish hp tuners supported these a bit more and I could just change it in the tune. but it is what it is.

huh.. looks actually the same 34 and a half from a quick measurement.

I do see 2 part numbers on RA, one says HD next to it but nothing is oem looking. I need to do more research. finding the correct one on ebay might be as much of a hassle as the right alternator was ha

Picked up a hitchhiker. I tried yanking it out and driving over it. Refused to come out. Was afraid it was wrapped up around something important underneath. Like a fuel or brake line or wire harness,
