Stupid plastic clips!

The Center Console rear cup holder latch clip broke on my Hoe so started looking for one.

Ah. $20 bucks? Are you kidding me????? For a stupid plastic clip?
So I'm going with plan B.
I have some small and powerful magnets found on demolition jobs. They come from those door alarm systems. I'll mount one inside with some really strong doubled sided tape pads from another job.
Ever try to move a TV in a Motel room? That's the double sided pads I'll be using.
I'll attach a small piece of steel on the door itself with the pad also.
Total cost? $0!
I'm suffering the broken spring on the gas cap door and guess what holds it shut now?

I always try to take the t.v.'s from motel rooms. No wonder I've been unsuccessful Mine is broke also, that is a great idea.

Nice! I couldn't find a replacement latch piece when mine broke.
